Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

I always though Chad E Donella looked liked Christian Bale

Christian Bale

Always thought Chad could double for Bruce Wayne if ever allowed on SMALLVILLE.

In the immortal words of one Lex Luthor...WRONGGGG!!!! Sorry dude don't see the resemblance at all. As for playing Bruce Wayne...he's as good a choice as Trevor Fehrman who was apparently the leading choice to play him in the "Young Bruce Wayne" series.

Episode #10-6: "Harvest"

UPDATED 8/17/10: From Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly: This episode contains some good Clois action. “It’s a creepy ghost town episode, and Lois and Clark find themselves forced together,” reveals exec producer Brian Peterson. “He doesn’t have his powers, and she finds out a lot more about him than she thought she knew.”

This is old news but I am now just reading it...How many freakin' times are they gonna pull this BS..."He doesn’t have his powers"??? :barf:

Sigh. I suppose they'll end up at the hospital like they do every other damn episode as well. Clark RARELY loses his powers in the comics....in Smallville though it's like every dozen or so episodes lol. That reminds me...except for flight...has he developed all of his powers now? I think the most recent one to kick in was super breath.

^
I think he has them all except for flight he even seemed to sense when people are being less than honest...except for the Kandorians...go figure.

OH yeah that weird "lie detection" power that Jor-El gave him last season. That was bizarre and a little ironic from a character known for lying most of his life, albeit to protect his secret.

If you don't mind AY I want to comment on this here because my response is more SMALLVILLE related. From [HERE]

Do not mention "Bizzaro Superman movie" worst script I ever read. I deleted it from my files after reading it. An interesting idea that was poorly executed and written.

I really like how SMALLVILLE handled Bizarro and wish he didn't get distroyed...if infact is what happened...they show him... [HERE] at 1:12-1:14 or so. Would like to see Bizarro return to SMALLVILLE.

Bizarro loved Lana! Lana loved Bizarro! Kryptonite doesn't effect Bizzaro! The love of Bizarro and Lana rides again!

She's a mass of kryptonite right these days, what if she could have arranged to have been hit by lightning over and over again, in battle against Zods forces, would she have doubled up and redoubled up powerhousing herself with multiples of a Kryptonians abilities or would she just be swapping one helping of super powers for an equal helping of another's super powers that she wouldn't have to burn off or power up a human before she sucked another Kandorian dry?

I'm surprised Chloe didn't weaponize this too while she was secretly bankrupting her as yet not boyfriend?

He really did and it put Lana in a bad light helping to destroy him. Kinda heartless really.

I enjoyed the Smallville Bizzaro version. Thought it was actually quite unique for them to have him as a Phantom Zone creature that "stole" Clark's DNA. It was an interesting take. Whoa...news flash...did I just say that I enjoyed something from Smallville? :)

To be honest the Zibarro outfit looks like something Clark would wear on SMALLVILLE...maybe he is Zibarro.

Also to address Guy...Bizzaro only loved Lana because Clark did. Lana l
"loved" Bizzaro because she was fooled and thought he was Clark. The thing that was interesting about this arc was that Bizzaro arrived just when the two of them had gotten back together again.

He couldn't have been that in love with Lana grabbing Lois's ass in the premiere. I wonder if the Phantom was a complete being with it's own thoughts & feelings or just an energy that was complete when it copied a Kryptonian...they played both sides of the fences there. I think he did love Lana due to copying Clark...but once he got past his survival stage he probable was even more in love with Lana than Clark. He is a imperfect copy so he doesn't have Clark's reservations...he seems like Clark on Red K but slightly twisted...if that makes sense.

I think it was a combination of both...it's own Phantom self combined with Clark's memories and DNA given form. Bizzaro manifested those feelings towards Lois and Lana for that matter because Clark possessed feelings for both of them. The Phantom Zone beings own aggressiveness and lustfulness for lack of a better word was amplified inside the body of a Kryptonian. I agree that he was kind of like Clark on Red K.

It kinda makes me wonder if Red K would have made the Phantom more like Clark is normally.

Well the Phantom Zone criminals are Kryptonian...or at least we can assume they are so I'd imagine Red K would only increase those tendencies if it had any effect on them at all.
