Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

Kara vs Zod would be like a mallrat from the 80s vs Patton from the 40s... Well maybe the Smallville Zod is more like Colonel Klink than General Patton, but essentially Zod's tech savvy and tactics are 20 years behind kara's sense of the world order and acumen... She probably wrote a paper about him at "school".

but then consider what she had to work with, kal got all this destiny bollocks piped into his ship meanwhile Zor-El's only message to his daughter was "I want to rape a clone of your Aunty".

Yeah the writer's certainly have given Lois that rapier wit and spunk that reminds one of Yosemite Sam. Why would Zee hook up with Clark when she's still coping from a brief romance with another hero in the making she met a few years back who trained under her father ;) I believe I brought up a few dozen pages ago that I would love to see Zatanna return again.

Stargirl. Britt Irvin is yum...I know ya'll don't see it but...I really like her in "Absolute Justice".

[edit] So That is Tess & Stargirl that are mine.

Well I think HawkMan is going to save Clark, and remove the Blue K dagger take Clark to either JSA headquarters to rest up before returning to the farm, and the Daily Planet Also find that Kara has returned to the farm.
Another possiblity is Kara returns just in time to save Clark from splatting onto the floor of the church/warehouse,and removes the Blue K transports Clark to the Fortress for kryptonian healing,by asking Jor-el's AI to restore clark's powers.
Once Clark has healed by the episode "Shield" he talks with Ma Kent about the costume that he finds in the barn, and she tells him that the outfit was based upon the blankets she found in the ship, and had Queen Industies using red sun lamps to unravel the threads to weave by computer the outfit that he's destined to wear.
Also it would be nice to see another time based story where Clark meets a version of himself wearing the outfit in 31st century.
What do you all think of my theories?

Signed

Buck Rogers

i had a very disturbing moment with her recently.

Saw her on Stargate.

She was 11.

the one where they get the naquada generators and the aliens are draining (lobotomising) kids of nanities them to educate the rest of their society.

I could almost recognize her, so there were all these feelings coming forth which shouldn't be associated with an 11 year old... Okay, she was 15. Malnourished much?

She was damn good in the Assistants.

Once they hit adulthood everything is fair game. ;)

***SPOILER***
"Lazarus" Premier.
UPDATED 7/17/10: An enemy from Clark's past factors heavily into this story.
- There is a visit to the JSA brownstone in the season premiere.
- The show's producers have hinted that a mysterious "Skeleton Key" also is a part of the episode.

Interesting...who could it be???

That Bee Girl?

Goodness she was a hot little android on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Didn't Knox kill her???

I am thinking glass smasher girl...hopefully. Eric Summers is still alive. Who knows until more comes out.

Then Tina Greer can enact a one woman swimsuit pageant for us.

(dead too?)

By the way.

They used two different actresses for bee Girl!!

I feel robbed!

Assuming they are going with a Darkseid inspired theme for the season, I would say the likely suspect would be Bruno Mannheim who runs Intergang. Since in the comics Mannheim and Intergang were actually backed by Desaad and used Apokolips tech as their front on Earth. And it probably involves those parademons who got Oliver in the finale.

He first appeared on Smallville in the episode Stilletto.

Has the New Gods stuff been confirmed?

Jack Kirby was mentioned in Warehouse 13 last week.

His awesomeness actually created an artefact.

If I had my way it'd be the Legion saving Clark from his fall...but apparently I dream too big and impossible for Smallville. We've not seen Intergang since the Morgan Edge episode a few seasons back so that could be interesting and we know as mentioned that the Apokolipans love hiding on Earth. I could see them doing a bastardized version of Final Crisis as this season's arc to be honest. I just finished reading Greg Cox's novelization (as per my thread on the subject) and he explained things better than Grant managed to (which is why I've yet to buy the trade) and wouldn't put it past them to adopt Final Crisis. They just basically did the New Krypton story without so many of the vital players involved in that so I don't see why they couldn't do Final Crisis if they wanted to. This "Skeleton Key" business better not be another Veritas but I doubt it. I actually still really like The Dagman's prediction to how Clark is saved.

Same here. It makes the most sense when combined with John Schneider's return. I mean if anyone could give Clark that final push into embracing his destiny and becoming Superman, it would be Jonathan.

Amy fricking Adams? That woman is like a weed! A tiny ginger weed.

To save Clark from the fall, what about Bouncingboy? Not that it would happen but consider the special effects involved with all that bouncing.

Actually, Clark really doesn't need to have anyone save him from the fall. All he needs to do is wake up, pull the dagger out, and throw it far enough away (like maybe through a window inside the building he's plummeting from) that he gets his powers back before he smacks the pavement. Cheaper to do it that way too. You don't have to pay for a guest star on the show just to save him.

O!

He doesn't have to survive the fall.

Dude dies.

Tess and Clark have some adventure in the afterlife with other dead people from Smallville's history.

And then... "Granny" brings Clark back from the dead to when they're dragging Tess back from Grim's clutch.
