Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

Well they certinally pimp themselves out. I have rarely in their interviews seen them praise their other writers or staff. Yeah this show hasn't been "Smallville" in a long, long time.

^

Depending on what week it is, I tend to think of it as either 'Metroville' or 'The Really, Really New Adventures of Lois & Clark'.

Smallville? Hell, Lois doesn't even call him that anymore.

Well I liked Riese The series and have bookmarked the channel any chance it could go from webseries to prime time on SyFy?
Looking forward to Friday night's episode tho.

Signed

[Twikki voice] Biddi-biddi-biddi-biddi! What's up, Buck? [/Twikki voice]

From what I've heard, that's the plan - that Skiffy has acquired the rights to the show. Whether it will become a full-blown series, I have no idea.

Asked about the possibility of "Legion of Super-Heroes" beyond comics, Johns said, "it's always something that's talked about."

We can only hope.

On the topic of the next Superman movie, "I don't think you can hope for much more than Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder," Johns said. "He'll be punching something."

:bolian:

Slides representing the video game DCU Online and "Smallville" received healthy applause. Johns mentioned that some fans have come on or dropped off of "Smallville," but he is "proud to be associated with the show" through final season. He said there's a scene in his Booster Gold episode in which Clark sees a Legion ring on Booster's finger: "'Oh, you're a Legionnaire?' 'No,but they're really good friends of mine.' Clark knows something's up."

I can't wait for Blue & Gold! :)

Madeline: Smallville, please!
I'm hearing some great things about an upcoming episode that is based on an "alt Earth" Clark will visit, which is something they did in the comic books. He will see an alt Clark there, and the end of the episode will have everyone talking. Also, get ready to scrape yourself off the ceiling after watching the 200th episode, 'cause it's made of 100 percent awesome from what I hear. "Best episode ever," says my source, and this source knows a thing or two about good TV. James Marsters is a huge part of the episode, in a good way—gone is Bad Brainiac of days past! Plus, if you're a Clois shipper (and let's face it, who isn't?!), you'll be treated to countless squeeworthy and very emotional scenes.

Janet: Any chance we'll see any Justice League or Society members again on Smallville again this season?
The answer to that question is a big fat yes! Smallville boss Kelly Souders says, "You'll definitely see a big League presence in the middle of the run [of episodes]. You won't have to wait until the end, we promise. Plus, you'll see more than one assembled at a time—and soon." Get excited.

An alternate universe Clark? If it's Ultra Man I'll be happy, can't think of another popular alternate universe Clark they could show unless they have him meet his Comic book self lol.

I think everyone here knows how estactic I would be if we got a live action Legion show...hell I'd even take another animated series.

Alt Earth Clark has me worried.

They said we will see JLers middle of the season...hope it will turn out good. With Booster Gold...I am wondering if we will see The L* return or Brainiac 5 again?

I'm thinking that the Justice League will return during the mid season cliffhanger that was reported earlier. Hawkman will probably return again during the Isis storyline and with Sheyera appearing as Hawkgirl. I still don't know what to make of their Alt Clark comment. "Lexmas" was their best alternate reality episode to date. I also cringed when they mentioned they aren't at liberty at mentioning the suit. Uhhh....why not?

Brian and Kelly talking with CBR now. They say the Legion probably won't appear this season, I guess Brainy is the closest we'll get this week.

You know what else I'm afraid of, AY? That Kelly and Brian will decide that they need to give themselves an on-screen cameo in the finale, ala RDM in nuBSG.

And "fun".

Alt Clark could be a "Bizarro" because either Zatanna or Bizarro was going to happen...I alot of people would want Zatanna but that would involve a "magic" story...which doesn't see likely this late in the game and given the track record...Smallville doesn't do magic well...IMHO.

I want to see Z back in the worst way... She just needs to cast a spell on Doucheman and boink his brains out.

I don't really care if Brian and Kelly give themselves a cameo...my worry is that they make themselves the focus of the scene. I almost expect to see them in the finale to be honest. Geoff Johns needs to write every single episode of this season.

Then have her fight robots.

Fembots with machine gun jumblies.

besides, Chloe has been tagged with Fates madness. She'd stink of magic. A smart archer would know that that is a trail worth sniffing if he can find the right sort of hound dog with a nose for that sort of thing.
