I liked the episode. Kinda interesting where this character went considering that the actor played a younger Lex back in season 6 (or around there)
Clark mentioned how Chloe (who is thankfully gone) and Ollie (who is also apparently gone) supplied the new identity. Clark, however, was the one who enrolled him in Smallville High.
I suspect you are joking around, but a show like this has a completely unpleasable fanbase. It also doesn't help that the Internet is a cesspool of "Everything Sucksism".
When the show doesn't do things the fans want, they complain. When it does to things the fans want, they complain. When there is nothing to complain about, they find stupid things to complain about.
Not saying that people have to be only talk about good things, but it seems these threads have degraded into "Why tonight's episode sucked" or "Who can have the wittiest anonymous slam against the show".
In fairness, Clark hasn't been places where he has needed the glasses. In the last few episodes, he has been around friends/people who already know. When the show returns to the Planet, the glasses should logically reappear (although, whether they do is anyone's guess). I suppose you can make a case for "Fortune" that Clark should have been wearing glasses, but they were under a spell, so it is easier to look the other way (though, I guess that doesn't explain the following day)
Interesting that Clark just comes up with the documents for his new identity.

And thanks for ruining Lois with all the botox and silicone comments folks. I thought she looked great, and her in the barn was one of the highlights of the episode. Damn you all.

This kinda helps my point. No one is forcing you to watch it. Happy that a break coming seems to run counter to being a fan of a show.Hiatus? Thank god. I need a break.I hope this ep is good...it should have some great cliff hangers being the last ep before another hiatus.
Of this, I have no idea (or even if he had a "pay or play"). However, it would seem odd that they would wait three seasons (particularly in regards with budget and potential legal issues). Also, considering that the last time they had an actor with a few remaining episodes in her contract, they did it the very next season.I wonder if his appearances in the last few episodes are part of his original pay or play contract. He was still under contract for future episodes when they killed him off a few seasons ago.
At first, I thought Lex was gonna rise up from the dead or something. It was nice to see Darkseid in the flesh finally. Hope he sticks around, unlike the glasses.
