SKYNET just went online — for real!

Skynet is Wikipedia.

Yeah. This is what I was going to say. Wikipedia even has a better interface.

The thing to worry about is Google and Wiki getting together. Then you have Skynet.

Coincidentally I was reading recently in Popular Mechanics I believe that the US Government has contracted for a new supercomputer to be built by IBM that they'll be connecting to the Defense Department. What's scary is that it'll be completed around the date that Skynet activates in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Bah! Like all military contracts, it will be over budget, behind schedule, and not work as promised.

I typed in "How long until the nuclear holocaust" and it said

"Wolfram|Alpha isn't sure what to do with your input."

...so it's obviously hiding something.

I asked how much the planet Earth was worth and it gave me the number of miles from the Sun to Worth, Il. Very suspicious.

God damn fanboys.

A robot cannot harm a human being, or, through inaction allow a human being to come to harm UNLESS IT HAS REALLY COOL NUKES.
