Skitz Interview where Beltran bashes Trek, Voyager, and Trek fans

I fully intend to watch the interview with Mr Beltan, I have all seven seasons of Voyager and consider it one of the better series not just in Trekdom but TV in general. He was the First Officer, and was given his share of shows that if not centered around him, did have him in many important scenes.

Having not seen his comments, I do hesistate to post this, however, as a Voyager fan, I feel compelled to say that I feel that he has every right to air his complaints, just as I have every right to say that his role on Voyager gave him a prominent place in Trek lore and that will probably be the high water mark for his acting career. And he will continue to get
"mail box money" for a very long time. Mabey he should have stayed with all the other drones that had been disconnected from the collective, he may have been happier not being stuck on such a no-nothing, boaring ship such as Voyager.

One last commet for Mr Beltran...Live Long and Prosper (With the Money you are making from your seven seasons on Voyager) :)

Resistance is Futile

:) This is not on the subject of Beltran bashing, per se, but this is more positive..my favorite movies of him are: To Die Standing(loved watching him run!!) Managua(ok felt sorry for him!) and of course, Kiss Me a Killer(he was DAMMMNNN hot in that one!!!! WHEW!) Anyone have any favorite Beltran movies? Just curious and wondering. :)

BTW: Kimc, thanks for the kind words. :) You're a true Voyager fan. :) :techman:

Favorite RB movies? Oh there are many movies, but my favs are

Gaby- a true story (wonderful story and great actors (including a very sexy Robert)
Kiss me a killer:drool: (what can I say)
Mystic Warrior (a very interesting Mini series)
Lone Wolf Mc Cade; To die standing; Scenes from the class struggle in Beverly Hills- great story about Hollywood and its stars
Luminarias (wonderful, funny)
Latino
Night of the comet
And
VOYAGER

^ ^ Just want to mention that is not my quote, but freak's. I can't claim her superior Beltran knowledge. ;)

Have you seen "Eating Raoul?" Unfortunately I can't say too much about it without giving away the plot.

^ ^ I saw that; he looks pretty darn good in it. And without giving away the plot, there is ample opportunity to look at him.

LOL! Why thank you, Jeri. Yeah, you could say that I'm superior to his movies..:)

I've seen Eating Roaul and when I first saw him take off his shirt I thought I'd literally fall out of the bed . He was HOT! I have also seen Scenes, as well as his Murder She Wrote episodes, Gaby a True Story(damn you see his underwear in that movie..I almost had a heart attack!), and Night of the Comet(which I adored). I haven't seen Latino yet although I'm very tempted to go to amazon.com and buy the VHS just to see his backside. I have heard that you see the real thing!!! I'll probably faint if I see it! Damn he was fine in those movies!!!! There was also an ep of Miami Vice with him in it..he bares somewhat of a striking resemblance to Don Johnson. He was hot in that episode as well. :)

Indeed which is why I was suprised it wasn't mentioned. :D

Of course, I have seen "Eating Raoul". Yes , he was hot in it , but I like him more in the later movies.

Yes, freak , go and buy Latino and yes, there you can see his backside :drool:and it is the real thing!!!. ;)But it`s also a good movie.

I also liked him in Miami Vice.

When it comes to his character Chakotay, Beltran is an unsatisfied cow, i.e. gay. Yup, he could never hold a candle to Riker, so he's everlovin' pissed and afraid Chakotay will disappear from memory.

 :techman:

Oh? I beg to differ, Sheliak. I think that Riker is an unsatisified COW, but not gay. Riker was always adjusting his uniform..Chakotay never did that! Anyway, I hold no grudge against Riker at all, but he doesn't hold a candle to Chakotay..I like Chakotay way much better. He makes my toes curl!
Mareika: Yeah, I might just have to buy Latino and see for myself. I've never seen that movie and have heard good things about it. :) But I just can't bring myself up to seeing his ass. I don't have the courage or the strength. :guffaw:!

-Sleighrider Falcon, hehehe..I might take you up on that offer. :)
I was watching Kiss Me a Killer last night and had to turn it off..it was WAY too steamy. And I'm not a prude or anything, but I started..ahem..fantasizing..and got all hot and bothered. So had to turn it off. I think that's the most steamy movie I have ever seen!!!!

At some point it dawned on Beltran that the only way for him to get any attention - and even then, at most, from disgruntled Trek fans - was to adopt the same pose of indignation and contempt for "Voyager" that they hold. That's the beginning and the end of this.

Well everyone, finally saw "Latino". And all I have to say is DAAAAAAMMNN!!! The movie itself wasn't too bad at all. There are times that the sound messed up on the VHS and I started swearing at it and talking to the VCR. And you could see his underwear in this movie as well as his behind!!!! All I have to say is OMG! I literally went three shades of red when I saw that. I couldn't even swallow-my throat was so dry! I also started swooning in the end-especially when he started taking off his clothes..I was like: oh yeah baby..STRIP!!!!!! :guffaw:!!! Suffice to say, I  a couple of times.

Yeah, kimc, it's definitely something to see! I almost fell out of my bed swooning when I saw it!!!!! You see him in all his glory! :guffaw:! :D Thank god they didn't show the front or I would have had an attack!!! :D

:guffaw:

*composes self*

Beltran also has a small role in 'Bugsy'...It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I think he is playing a past lover of Annette Bening's character.

You are right, Hoshi Mayweather. I forgot about that. Even though it was a VERY small role, he was fantastic and looked absolutely divine in that white suit. *sigh* But he's usually great in every role he plays, whether it be TV or movie.
Propita: well, there are some on his website I think from Latino as well as other movies he has done. But I'm not for sure if you see his behind though. I swear I will NEVER look at him the same way again. :D I do remember reading an interview with him saying that if he was in good shape, he'd show his backside to the world. :guffaw: I got a kick outta that! I think he was talking about the ep of Voyager "The Fight" and he said he wasn't in good shape and that's why he didn't wear just the tanktop. And he said if he had been in good shape BOY, he'd show his bare ass.!!!!!
