Six Degrees of Seperation...

My niece is an actress, and has had several roles on "Boston Legal" and she has become accuainted with William Shatner. Based on the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" does that friendship that my niece has with Shatner, let me into the Trek Universe, My Niece, Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Quark, Harry Kim...ect

Does anyone else have a Six Degree's story of their own that lets them into the Trek Universe ??

I had dinner with Walter Keonig. (he dined and then spoke at a college event. It was a very small crowd.)
I also once gave blood with William Windom (Commodore Decker)

I had a pizza party with the guy who wrote the ``Get A Life!'' Saturday Night Live sketch.

Also Don Novello.

I believe I was the first writer or one of the first to interview Ronald D. Moore for a magazine back in 1990, and while on the Paramount lot I met Peter Lauriston, and got a tour of the art dept. by Mike Okuda. Oh, and I've been pals with Andy Probert since the mid 90s.

Unrelated, but I chatted up Jim Cameron at SIGgraph in 1993 and he gave me his card. Never called him, though!

I've also gotten drunk with the creator of PAC-MAN. ;)

I once talked on the phone with Mike Okuda regarding updates to the Star Trek Encyclopedia. Sadly nothing ever came of it and I wasn't able to work on the project.

I went to school with a girl who had the name Nicole deBoer, though it wasn't the actress of the show. I work at a store and one of our bread vendor's name is Tom Paris.

...and one day you all just might actually kiss a real live girl...:p

Whoa there! Slow down partner you just blew clear past hand holding!

Let's see...I know Geoff Thorne who writes Trek fiction.

I've met Jeff Anderson and Jason Mewes, both of whom know Kevin Smith who's seen the new movie.

I'm pretty good friends with one of the main guys that had a robot on Battlebots. He's been on Leno so that connects me to trek.

But if a late night talk show dosent count then

I've had several conversations with 49ers halfback Roger Craig

who played Policeman #2 in Dreams For An Insomniac with starred

Jennifer Aniston who was in Bruce Almighty with

Morgan Freeman who, in Kiss The Girls appeared alongside

Ashley Judd, who played Ensign Lefler on TNG.

I'm sure there was a better way to get there.
