He talked about the odd/even movie curse and that it's all reset with this movie. He's guest hosting with Edgar Wright, Jessica Hines, and Patton Oswalt. It's streaming right now.

Is it the link which goes to "Jonesey's Jukebox"? I'm not getting any audio there.

They're subbing for Sex Pistol, Steve Jones while he's touring in Europe. Go to Listen Live, but it's about over now. I think they do archive them as podcasts though. I'll try to provide the link for today's show later. They ribbed us nerdy fans as Pegg, Wright, and Oswalt typically do, but they're all just as much fans too. It was quite a funny show.

It'll get rebroadcast in four hours (6pm Pacific, as it's a Los Angeles station).

Jonesy's Jukebox is available on-demand once the show is over. You don't have to listen to a live streaming. I plan to listen after work late tonight.

Indie is a good station... and I'm excited to hear what Pegg has to say, even tongue-in-cheek, about the new film. Perhaps we'll get a bit of the Scotty accent.

Nope. I listened to it live and there were only a couple of minutes about the movie, but it was still a fun listen.

I thought that's which Steve Jones I thought it was.

I tried both the Listen Live and the On-Demand and didn't get any audio. Then I went to the archive page, but that wanted me to download a plug-in, so I bailed.

I'll try it again later, though. 6-ish.

So the odd/even curse is reset now? That means this next Star Trek film won't be considered "Star Trek XI" after all, an odd numbered movie!!!! Yippee!

That means it's reset as just plain 'ole "Star Trek" the first and... ODD NUMBERED MOVIE!!!

Oy vey...

How about we pretend that the first ten movies are all Star Trek: The Movie Series: Phase I. Then this movie would be Phase II of the Star Trek movie series and therefore even. Although let's hope it's not like the Phase II of the 70s and actually gets completed.

We could construct superstitions all day though. And all we'd be doing is tugging our batting gloves like Nomar Garciaparra.
