The idea of an Andorian raised by Vulcans would have been an interesting concept. Would have preferred that over Burnham.
There is an Andorian on the ship somewhere, he was mentioned in the first season.*whispers* I was sort of hoping for an Andorian among the DSC crew.
(Shran is my ultimate Star Trek alien crush. Some of us like blue guys as much as you like blue girls!)

We didn't see one, they were name dropped. The only Andorians I recall from Season 1 were in the Mirror Universe episode "The Wolf Inside." They were part of the resistance against the empire, not among the crew of the ISS Disco.

Scroll up and look at what post LizStargaryen was quoting. We saw them twice. In the mirror universe on that planet and in the penultimate episode of season 1 when StarFleet boarded the Discovery.
There is still time. Who knows how many strays Sarek has collected? The idea of an Andorian raised by Vulcans would have been an interesting concept. Would have preferred that over Burnham.
Well, they went through the trouble of casting Number One, so it certainly seems possible...Personally, I love to see an Enterprise show with Pike and company. Anson Mount has been brilliant so far in his depiction of Captain Pike.
I seriously doubt it would ever happen.
Depends on if (and how) they answer WHY we never saw "Number One" later in the TOS TV or Film eras.Well, they went through the trouble of casting Number One, so it certainly seems possible...
Well, the same question could be said about Terral, Cornwell, or any other high-ranking officer from the 2250s on why they never were seen in TOS TV or film. They were obviously off doing their own thing...Depends on if (and how) they answer WHY we never saw "Number One" later in the TOS TV or Film eras.![]()
In fairness, there may be an answer to seeing Cornwell in TOS.Well, the same question could be said about Terral, Cornwell, or any other high-ranking officer from the 2250s on why they never were seen in TOS TV or film. They were obviously off doing their own thing...
I think Cartwright is the most obvious omission.Well, the same question could be said about Terral, Cornwell, or any other high-ranking officer from the 2250s on why they never were seen in TOS TV or film. They were obviously off doing their own thing...
Oh, I expect him to pop up as Mirror Georgiou's right hand man in that new Section 31 show. CBS take note! (unless of course they run into those tedious film/tv rights issues again)I think Cartwright is the most obvious omission.
In fairness, there may be an answer to seeing Cornwell in TOS.

I'm quite sure in the real world, we use "serving" as shorthand for service in the military, even if they are high ranking generals or admirals. I see in the news how generals/admirals "serve" all the time.I see absolutely no reason to think they are the same character.
As for Terral: He's already an Admiral now, so it's unlikely he is Tuvok's father. In Tuvok's youth (during his time on the Excelsior), his father was serving aboard the Yorktown. That's all Tuvok says, that his father was serving aboard the ship. If it was Terral and he was using the Yorktown as his flagship, Tuvok would have said so.
I suppose Terral could be Tuvok's grandfather, but not father.
