Should the suliban or the mysterious future person that appeared on Enterprise on this series?

It was dealt with in a book, so I don't see a need for the to revisit that plotline.

Oh? Who was future guy, when was he from and what was his big plan? I’ve never heard of that before!

I wouldn’t mind the Sulliban, even though they’ve always freaked me out. Maybe it was the wall/ceiling climbing, but I’ve always found them incredibly creepy!

Future guy is Stamats gone mad from the Spore Drive and over thinking everything (one century later, five centuries later...who cares...its jumping around the fungal interdimensional-temporal highway).:D

The Suliban might make for an interesting take on not only what happened to them, but also if they were absorbed by the Klingon Empire as oppose to the Federation.

The Xindi too for that matter. Make it so they aren't so out of the loop, just not noteworthy in TOS because their issues are not relevant after DCS.

I think a Suliban would make a great addition to the cast of Discovery. They should really go out of their way to include cameos by all sorts of past, present, and future (where appropriate) races in background scenes (if not in the foreground). While I like Cantina-like scenes with all new aliens, at this point in Star Trek history, it'd be cooler to include a majority of known races (like, say, Suliban, Xindi, Denobulans, Bolians, Betazoids, Vulcans, Tellarites, Rhaandarites, Miradorn, Caitians, ...). They keep mentioning Andorians for some reason in Discovery, why not toss a Suliban reference in the mix.

Here's his Memory Beta page, with ample book spoilers.

According to the earliest outlines for the Suliban (when they were to be introduced as nomads in Voyager's final season), the 23rd century is when the Borg annihilate their homeworld.

So yeah, go for it.
