They are dancing around a relationship because they're both SUPERVIRGINS.
I say this because they stole first base together last year by accident.

Luke has the steaming libido of thousands and thousands of little boys and girls. It's ridiculous to think that he doesn't have a mass of females inside him to pull some beefcake now and then.
I had the hots for THE Rani.
Side note: The DW wiki says that The Rani can't be used in nuWho because of legal reasons.

I think it would be nice to just frame the episodes with some commentary from Sadie Miller and/or her dad if they are willing to participate.
While there might not be a source in that article, I've read multiple accounts on why Big Finish haven't been able to use the character: Pip and Jane Baker hold the rights to the character and insist on writing any story featuring on her.
I've got an idea. When the show begins, Luke is all distraught from the death of his mother due to cancer. Child services are about to put him foster care when they get news that a mysterious relative has come forward to adopt him and has paperwork all set for him (including a letter of recommendation from the Prime Minister). Luke totally befuddled when the door bell ring and we find out that relative is IRIS WILDTHYME!!!
