Should Seven get her own show?

Should Seven get her own show?

Georgiou got one, everyone's asking for a Pike one, so experience says it's never too soon to demand a spin-off, and since Seven clearly stole the show just from the trailer, obviously she should get one. :D

So, who wants to know what Seven has been up to in the last 20 years, or what will she be up to after the events of the Picard series?

Well, Pike and Georgiou did not get spinoffs before the first Disco episode aired.

I'd wait to see where the character's at and how the actor plays it before even starting to think about a spinoff.

Absolutely.

After Pat himself, Ryan is easily the best actor of that era. And - maybe with the exception of Kira - Seven is the most interesting character from that era.

I was going to say no, but @CorporalClegg made a good point. I have always wanted to see how Seven adapted to life on earth and I think it could be interesting. Also it would have a female in the lead and that’s a good thing.

I'd vote for maybe, but only after Picard finishes its three-year planned run. At that time they'll probably be looking for some other established Trek character to pass the baton to, and Seven is a good choice, given she's remained popular, and Jeri is a great actress and still relatively young.

I knew this thread was coming.
Look Seven of Nine is decent character. Jeri Ryan is excellent at portraying Seven. Is there enough there to carry a whole series? Doubtful.
At best, she is fully integrated into human society so she's well like a regular human. Not much of a series there.
At worst, she is bigoted against because she's former Borg or some such thing. I don't want a whole show about almost-human character trying to prove everyone wrong.

Why not? I had a Seven of Nine T-shirt when I was 18. So there you go.

But anyway, with so many Star Trek shows coming out, and seven seasons no longer being the norm, they have the freedom to come up with series they wouldn't have been able to before.

Maybe they should do what they're doing with Pike, not necessarily with Seven, but in general: test the waters with a Short and then see how it takes off. Short Treks is a good vehicle to experiment with to see what might be a good idea and might not.

She's acting too human to invoke the seven-of-nine vive, again. But, it all depends on the writing (as usual.)
