Should I upgrade AirPort firmware?

Mr. Laser Beam

I have an AirPort Extreme base station (the white box-style one, which is being sold now). It still has its original 7.2.1 firmware, which came preinstalled on the unit. Every time I launch the AirPort utility, it asks me if I want to upgrade to 7.3.2 firmware. Has anyone here actually done this? I've heard talk on the Apple Discussions fora which mention a lot of problems with the firmware upgrade. Has anyone here done the upgrade, and if so, what if any problems (or benefits) did you have?

From your post, and assuming you have no problems with your current config, one has to ask why you would even consider upgrading?

I upgraded; no issues. I would say that with the Airport reasons to upgrade would relate to increased stability for things like the AirDisk, which I use; I'm all for that.

But as USS KG5 indicated, read the release notes; unless there's a security gain or an improvement you want is provided, generally there's no cause for upgrading.
