BBC's Sherlock, which places the iconic character in
modern times begins its second series on January 1, 2012
on BBC One. Series 2 will consist of three 90-minute episodes
and introduces an updated Irene Adler played by Lara Pulver.

I caught the first series on Netflix a couple weeks ago. Much better than I expected. Looking forward to seeing this!

After the letdown that was ahe Doctor Who Christmas Special, I'm badly in need of some good news this holiday season.
 
I guess there's no way around Irene Adler in any version, is there?
I was hoping that she'd show up eventually and I like what I've seen and read so far...

So soon! I read reports that said April at the earliest, and maybe not even until 2013 due to Who and The Hobbit.
