Shatnerverse novels: Are they worth the time?

Shatnerverse is kick-ass when you are a teenager, when you are in your late 30s/early 40s, not so much.

With me, I loved The Return the first time I read it when I was 12. Not so much when I re-read it at 18.

Those novels started coming out when I was 25, and I liked them well enough (there were better books at the time though), so I'm not sure where I fall in the above description.

I think it means you were born in a Borders by gate A5? That's my best guess. :p

Finished Spectre last night and am hooked enough to have started Dark Victory already. So happy to see a USS Voyager counterpart.

The novels feels dense, epic, an action thrill ride. It's like the action version of New Frontier. A crossover between the two would be so awesome to make your head explode. :bolian:

Does anybody have any idea why Ashes of Eden, The Return, and Avenger aren't available as e-books, but all the rest of the books in the series are? I would think if it was some kind of specific issue it would affect the whole series, not just that first trilogy.

Heh.

Actually, I was born in a barn.:p;):bolian::lol:

I love the Ashes of Eden graphic novel - it's like an adaptation of a lost movie, The Return and Spectre are also very good.

The otehrs you can take or leave

No clue. Is the omnibus available?
