Shatner an author?

sbk1234

If this has been discussed before, my appologies. I just started reading Ashes of Eden, by William Shatner. So far, it's a pretty good book. I was just wondering. Does anyone know how much of it Bill actually wrote? Was it ghost written for him? Or did he really do the actual writing of this novel? Just wondering.

Pure speculation based on the other names listed on one of his books, but I think he's the "idea man" and then other authors actually write the prose.

This has been discussed many times before. Shatner comes up with the plot and the Kirk dialogue; the Reeves-Stevenses fill out the rest; then the manuscript goes back and forth among them with all of them contributing to the revisions and Shatner having final approval on the result.
