I'm sad to report that author Peter Morwood has passed away. Trek BBS readers will most likely know his work from The Romulan Way, co-written with his wife Diane Duane, and his solo movie-era Star Trek novel, the excellent Rules of Engagement. Peter is also known for his Horse Lords and Tales of Old Russia fantasy fiction sagas.
Peter and Diane have been regular fixtures at Trek and SF cons for decades, and everyone who met Peter will miss him, his jokes and his wit; I personally will always remember the encouragment he gave me when I was just a newbie writer wondering if I could make a career of it. That, and his ability to do a pitch-perfect imitation of the Enterprise bosun's whistle.
Peter's wife Diane says more at her Tumblr account, and there's also a Ko-Fi link there for anyone who might like to help out.
