Shards and Shadows extract in Star Trek Magazine 15

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Star Trek Magazine issue 15 will be hitting newsstands before Christmas in the US and during January in the UK. This one is the long promised Mirror Universe special although sadly I just couldn't find a way of including the cut-out-and-keep do-it-yourself Mirror Universe goatee (sorry Dayton!)
Novel connected goodness includes an extract from garamet's James T. Kirk "Mirror, Mirror" prequel (which includes a text free copy of the original cover for the book, courtesy of Marco - just to please Therin!), and a complete timeline to the Mirror Universe, compiled by "some hack with four initials" (trade mark and copyright KRAD) which includes not just the events of the three recent volumes, but also all the different iterations in the comicbooks, the Stargazer series, and the Shatnerverse - as well as the DS9-R. There's reviews of all three Destiny novels (again, with text free cover artwork) and Kobayashi Maru, and Jill Sherwin has contributed an insightful interview with writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe.
We've also got an interview with Nana Visitor, and in our movie previews, there's a fun interview with Leonard Nimoy talking about working on the new film. There's the second part of our examination of the Star Trek remastered project, and the guest writer for this issue's column is Star Trek 101 co-writer CBS Consumer Products' Paula M. Block...
Enjoy!

S. John Ross has got you covered in that respect:

:)

Looking forward to reading the magazine and to finally seeing MU: S&S out on shelves. It feels like it's been almost 2 years since I wrote that story...wait....*checks file dates*

It HAS been almost two years! :D

Paul, I just asked this of a very old post of yours in the casting thread, but copied it to here since you're, well, here. ;)

As we sort of used for the Titan extract from Sword of Damocles (no one's complained that we did...)

Sort of used?

God bless photoshop!

Out of curiosity, from where did the photos come? Did Hounsou or his agent have to give approval to their being used in the magazine, or were the photos part of some existing stock?

Cool, I can't wait. I'll have to start keeping an eye out for the magazine at the grocery store.

I need to find a new ST mag source, Chapters stopped selling them, aisles and aisles of magazines... and yet, no more ST... losers. -_-

Clearly I need to get my subscription renewed for Christmas. I never seem to make it to the bookstore to get the issues before they disappear. 'Course, that might be due to the fact that I have to drive 30 freeking miles to get to the bookstore in the first place since they closed the Borders Express (formerly Waldenbooks) that was around the corner. :censored:
