Dang, I was thinking about posting rating thread but it doesn't come out for another week and a half.

I hope you add a poll once we got closer to the release date.

A very enjoyable romp, with lots of unexpected twists and turns (and more humor than one would've expected). Katy and Xialing damn near stole the show (plus one welcome callback we really should have seen coming), but 'Shawn' definitely lived up to his Master of Kung Fu nickname.

Saw it. Definitely enjoyed it.

It was more of a Shang-Chi/Iron Fist mashup than a straight Shang-Chi adaptation. It’s funny because some people were saying they hoped this film’s popularity could convince Marvel to give Iron Fist a second try, but if anything it makes it damn near impossible.

I really enjoyed it. I might even love it. Awkwafina who plays Katy is excellent. I want to check out other stuff she has done because she comes across as so natural and lovelable in this movie and very funny. The first part of the movie is like a more grounded Kung-Fu action flick with high stakes and the second half is just bonkers. I prefer the more grounded stuff as it really shows off the character's skill and it's less CGIy.

It's different to other Marvel movies in that it's basically a story about a Father and Son. It's the first Marvel villain I really felt sympathy for. It's refreshing. Take away the action and CGI and it's still great just because of the story of Wen Wu and Shang Chi's relationship with him.

I had a lot of trouble getting tickets to see the movie today. I think it's gonna be a big hit.
Wonder if some people are going to be annoyed at having to read subtitles.

**Spoilers** **Spoilers**

I didn't like the mystical monster world so much.
The parts with Trevor and his headless pet were kinda too silly for my liking. I was hoping for an encounter between WenWu and fake Mandarin.

Does anyone know what the heck the end credit's scene was about? Banner is back to normal and Captain Marvel is there talking about the rings. Why those characters?

Holy shot that was fantastic. Easily in Marvel's Top 5 for me. It's a shame it's not going to get to be the massive hit it deserves to be.

Biggest surprise was the size of Ben Kingsley's role. Trevor might be an idiot but he's not bad so it was nice to see him earn his redemption. Plus I'll never look at Planet of the Apes the same way again...

The mid-credits scene wasn't what I was expecting and I hope it doesn't get widely spolied before people see it.

Wow. I've never seen someone speak about her so highly. Most of the time I hear people think she's super annoying and not funny

Her voice was funny for Raya and the last dragon

I absolutely loved her in this. I found her character interesting, she has tons of charisma. Actually reminded me of my relationship with my own friends. Again, I don't think I have seen her in anything else unfortunately but she felt so natural on screen. Nothing forced or fake about her.

Just came back from the Experiment. It was pretty good. Basically turned into a Godzilla movie at the end but that’s fine. It’s a shame we will never see RDJ Iron Man go up against him.
That friend of his has a very strange voice. She looks 20 but sounds like a 50 year old. It’s very bizarre.
I was a bit confused as to why Bruce looked human again. I thought he was permanently the Hulk now.

so is the beacon calling Galactus or something?

It's either some setup for the Eternals movie or some big upcoming threat like Galactus.

I've read too many interviews about the film today to remember exactly where I saw this but basically Wong is there as an expert in the Mystical, Banner the Scientific and Carol the Extraterrestrial when trying to understand what the Rings are. (Which is pretty much what I assumed when I saw it.)

Is it really that hard to figure out?

Hint: Where did the Ten Rings (the actual rings, not the organization) come from? Who else comes from there who might be interested in getting the Rings? The Rings may fit on a human's forearms, but could fit on a much larger being's fingers (or is that claws?) and truly be rings...

Middle Earth? :)
Do they belong to the Celestials? Is that what you’re implying? I’m more of a DC guy so I don’t know
