I was really excited about this but after watching a few sneak peak clips, I'm blown away by the bad acting. I'll still check it out though.

It's kind of unbelievable how awful it was. I'd suggest watching it just so you can see how bad it was. The first ten minutes, alone, is enough time to judge as it really doesn't get any better at all.

Curiousity got the best of me. Woah. New level of bad-ness! When will tv people realize that you need more than pretty faces to make a show work!

After watching the first episode, the Tuesdays at 9pm timeslot has just gotten a lot less crowded for me. What a disappointing show.

I watched the premiere - it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Clearly trying to emulate Teen Wolf and Vampire Diaries - but it's struggling in the acting stakes. It's on Netflix, so I'll probably catch up at some point.

Any of you guys fans of the books? I enjoyed the first book and the movie, so I've been very curious about the show. I still plan on checking it out, but you guys have definitely really hurt my enthusiasm.

Sorry to bump the thread, but I'm watching Season 1 and enjoying it a lot, proving that quality is a point of view.

The series is definitively better than the novels, which are a bad Harry Potter fanfic "repurposed", and has also proven that it's at its best when it ignores/deviates from its source material.
