A recurring vision in which Colonel Young sees Destiny attacked and destroyed causes him to think he may be losing his mind.

Six episodes in for the season, seems to be going by fast.

I hope the attack really happens, and the episode isn’t just about visions.

This is the first SGU episode that will have more than a one word title..maybe there is hope. lol

Why do I get the strange sensation that the answer to "What the hell is the Destiny and her mission?" will be something like "It's not important, it has always been about the characters, and they're actually dead."

Who knows. It'll be in the next episode though (unless they decide to cut that scene for suspense).

Shit, they are doing Cause and Effect.

At least Eli might get some.

She dies two episodes from now

Great, the Destiny really can project stuff into people's minds. Awesome. Well, it's not as retarded a solution as they could've done, but why Destiny have this when Atlantis didn't?

Atlantis was built as a city designed to be a home to the whole of the Ancients, Destiny was designed with completely different goals in mind (which IIRC should be revealed next episode).

I liked this episode, I really did. It balanced human drama with the science and mind of the ship pretty well.

Atlantis did have thought control, actually more advanced thought control than Destiny has. In Atlantis, Ancients could interface with the computer through their minds. It was never stated if Atlantis could project into their minds, but it might have very well been able to. People seem to forget this thought/mental control over Atlantis the Ancients had.

If I recall correctly, there might have been at least once that we saw an Ancient report on something that was being sent to their mind via Atlantis, I real some guy near a terminal able to see what a display would show, but without a display, meaning it was being sent to his head. At any rate, the thought control of Atlantis by Ancients is canon. Humans however, could not to do it, because they weren't advanced enough.

Destiny seems to be an earlier version of this.
