Quick couple of questions...

Was it as boring as Darkness?

Was there actually something interesting happening throughout the whole episode rather than the last 5 minutes? Or was it just more arguing?

Why do you care? This is a thread for those who have seen the ep and want to discuss it. Its not for someone who dislikes the show to the point he/she doesn't want to watch it but nonetheless feels compelled to post snarky, sarcastic comments.

The poll answer's his question since at the moment 78.25% has given the episode a score of between 8 and 10.

That James lady is sexy. They should give her more screen time. I would be happy to see more of her. Damn she's the best thing on Stargate since Carter came along.

Oh and the episode was good. Good writing. Keep it up.

Because polling in never wrong!

Polls typically show the masses view just because you personally may disagree then thats your problem not ours.

Oh puhlease :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Who the **** are you to assume I dislike the show? I don't. I disliked Darkness greatly, I thought it was a horribly boring 45 minutes, that could have been better spent doing anything else. I liked Air, very much however. Not that I should have to explain this to you anyway.

I wasn't posting snarky, sarcastic comments. I was asking for opinions as to whether the episode was as boring as that waste of time 'Darkness'.

This is a thread for those who have seen the ep and want to discuss it.

So because I have not seen it, does that mean I'm forbidden to ask a few questions about the ep?

I love a dude whose best response is the rolling-eyes icon.

But let me point out again...the thread's title says its for those who want to discuss/grade the episode. How exactly do YOU do that if you haven't seen it yet? If you were actually curious about what folks thought about this episode you only needed to read through the pages of comments to find out. But you decided to jump right in the middle of the thread to ask your phony questions which were obviously just your way of taking a shot at the series itself. That could have been done in other threads. Perhaps even one which you yourself could have started. That being said please spare me your "what did I do/who says I don't like the show" response because no one is buying it. And if you don't understand that I'll put it in a language you're more familiar with: :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm really diggin' this show. To me, it gets better by the episode. Rush is my favorite followed by Yound and Tamara Johansson (is anyone else amused that she sort of looks like Scarlett Johansson?).

As for the sex scene, I had no problem with it. They were both attracted to each other and thought they would die (Even if they wouldn't admit it) so why wouldn't they have sex?

I loved it. The Chloe/Scott hookup seemed a little forced (when/how did they become so close?), but everything else in this episode really worked for me.

As for whether or not Rush knew what was going to happen, I would have to say that he didn't know. He was too enthusiastic when power was restoring.

I definitely got the poor man's Scarlett Johansson vibe from her. Glad it wasn't just me , and I did notice the name thing.

Look, the show is a big fat predictible yawn at this point. It's becoming one of those shows that I will just watch when it reruns on the SciFi channel and watch all of them in a row.

Oh dear

This one was pretty dull.

Another dull boring episode, wonderful. Just what this brand new show needs in it's opening few episodes.

Yep, I was right about the solar power and about them not knowing til the last second.
Ahem. Two pages earlier:

And I'm registering my prediction now that the ship is not on a collision course with the star, but is going to dip in and recharge itself with star-stuff, like at the end of Rendevous With Rama.
Great minds think alike. I was not aware of your post, and came to my conclusion independently. :)

^ Yeah, sorry about that RJ. I did remember your post. We all predicted something like that anyway.
No problem, guys. I'm just being a wise ass. :D

And I got the idea from Arthur C Clarke, anyway. :rommie:

I really liked this episode. But, It would have been a little more realistic if all the "Military Jocks" banded together and basically bullied their way onto the shuttle...
And another thing that I was expecting but didnt get was a suicide or two. Its as if they all had the script. If they wanted a little more realism they would have had atleast 1 person kill themselves or maybe go around mad killing other people. I know thats what I would do...right?
I was really hoping they would chain up the civilians and give them all sharp knives and then whoever was able to cut their own arms and legs off would get to go on the shuttle! They could have called the episode "Sawgate!" It would have been like so totally realistic and dark and edgy and hardcore and kickass and KEWL!!

Out of all the positive posts about the episode you took notice more of the one that says it was boring.
