Now what we need is for someone to give Connor Trinneer a show of his own, preferably sci fi.

Seriously. He needs a show that does for him what "Burn Notice" does for Jeffrey Donovan. Where he's the lead and gets to showcase his awesomeness. He needs a sci-fi Burn Notice.

Did anyone else NOT like this episode?

I think it the WORST SGA episode ever..

It has Michael
Teyla
Teyla's Baby
Ronan being Cavemany.

What was good about it.. can someone please tell me.. i dont get all the praise for it..

as far as i can see it was them just walking around then they dialed the gate and shot people with guns and etc..

I didn't think it was all that good, in fact it seemed rather mediocre to me. The only good part was that they finally killed off Michael, if they in fact did.

According to Joe Mallozzi's blog, here was one of the recurring jokes around this episode:
Whenever Michael would drop off the ledge and plummet down into the darkness, we would imagine Chuck stepping out onto one of the lower balconies for a smoke - only to get creamed by Michael who, fall broken, would hop up none the worse for wear and make good his escape.

What the hell happened to Chuck? It seems like I never see him anymore in favor of Girl-Kickboxer.

Very good episode, thankfully after the garbage we've been served up these last couple of weeks. This series has had a few real gems (Daedalus Variations, The Shrine, First Contact), a few very good eps (like tonights), and the rest has been terrible.

:censored:

After all this time... all the times that Michael had the upper hand... all the times he has escaped ... all the bad things he has done... he dies being DROPPED OFF A BUILDING BY A PISSED-OFF WOMAN?! :scream:

I voted good ... because right up to the lazy writing of The Death of Michael it was good.

Methinks you're a bit sensitive because of your (clearly healthy) obsession with Connor Trineer.

It was a far better death than most other recurring guest characters have had these last few years. The fight outside Atlantis was great, and Teyla was always, predictably, going to be the one to kill him.

I am NOT biased. I never expected Michael to outlive the show. I just wanted his end to be as good as his beginning. He was a Frankenstein's monster, created by the Atlanteans and then loosed on the Pegasus Galaxy. Dropping him off a building was just lame.

I'm even OK with Teyla killing Michael. I just didn't want it to be ordinary.
