Something to note, you can't get the the Raptor or Battlecruiser to look like how they do in the show and in that image right now.
I wonder if that's a coming option.

Bit late to the party, but rewatching the premiere I realized that the Athena’s atrium is at the bottom of the ship’s neck, with the windows prominently visible above the triangular deflector. This makes sense as the (virtual) set extension goes all the way to the top of the inner saucer, as shown when the P-matter torpedoes cover the dorsal Starfleet logo, for example. This makes one wonder how the sections separate, and what gets covered up when the inner saucer takes off without the neck in 1x04.

Similarly, the inner saucer seems to display similar warp… lines? Grilles? As the ship’s nacelle sections, along the rear curve of the saucer. They glow the same color as the deflector and the (possible) RCS elements on the outer saucer, so it’s possible that this era simply says “white glowey bits equals propulsion” in the design language.

Or for all we know, the deflector and RCS quads ARE warp elements, since it’s most likely that all the sections can warp independently of each other. Whether they do so under normal flight configurations, and the nacelle sections merely boost the overall ship, is unclear.

Yeah - the problem then becomes that in 1x01, the context clues put the ground floor in the atrium.

When Genesis says the classroom is nearby, the MSD suggests they are on Deck 12. Later, Engineering is on Deck 8, about halfway up the rim of the inner saucer, and Derem is on the saucer rather than the neck.

If we assume Deck 12 is the visible atrium above the deflector, that puts a maximim of three decks between it and Engineering and makes Athena MUCH smaller than it had first appeared.
