sf/f TV development news - 2015

I wonder what exactly the plan is for that comet show. I'm assuming the comet must hit eventually or something, because I really don't see how the show could last otherwise.
The Frankenstein description does sound interesting, but I don't really see what exactly it has to do with Frankenstein.

God, I hate those Rob Lowe DirecTV commercials. They're one of the worst ad campaigns around today. They're annoying and unfunny and I can't understand what statement they're trying to make about the product.

Interesting, they seem to have gone with an alternate name to the one Sky are using in the UK... Apocalypse Slough.

:D

That losers have cable and winners have DirecTV.

Sounds like they've got a pretty eclectic cast of characters for Wrecked. If the writing is good, then it has potential. So I wonder if this will be more Gilligan's Island, or Lost?

Fingers crossed for Tales from the Darkside returning. I miss episodic anthology shows.

I like Joe Hill's fiction and I love his comic book work, so it should be pretty interesting to see what his television scripts would be like.

Ah, Tales From The Darkside. That could be good. I cringe that Orci & Kurtzman are involved, but they're producers on Sleepy Hollow, too, which somehow manages to be good.

We seem to be hearing about a lot of anthologies in development, but I never see any. Is it too soon or are they just dying on the vine?

I think it's to soon. I think most of them are due over the next year or two.
