The sex scene was in my version of SGU. Ive been recording all the episodes in HD and editing out the commericals.

The so-called "sex" scene seemed rather pointless; I didn't see any nudity at all. And story-wise it didn't seem to amount to much. But perhaps it'll be revisited later on.

It's meant to be "edgy" if you put sex in TV. That was the only reason, no more no less. Ditto iPhones, shaky cam and veiled comments about American politics (not saying the latter was in SGU though).
