I considered the accelerated maturity aspect. I don't buy it. Life's experiences matter. You can't be mature about things that you haven't observed or experienced yet. For a species to be "that" mature after only 2 years of life seems more Star Wars (fantasy) than Star Trek (sci-fi).

I don't get where this is coming from. Surely actual trauma survivors have a few dark shadows in their personality as a result of the trauma, but I thought Seven actually recovered from almost unimaginable trauma quite well. When was she an abrasive shit?
