Seven Deadly Sins--cover on amazon

Actually, because I'm still waiting for my Born For Adversity author copies, I thought that was what was being delivered when I saw the DHL van outside. "yeah," I told the guy, "I know exactly what this is..." But I didn't!

My copies arrived today - they look great!

Ooh! I'm jealous. I haven't seen mine yet.

(Although I got my copy of TIMESHARES, a non-Trek anthology earlier this week.)

I'm actually shocked, cos I thought that, being in the UK, I'd get them later than the US-based contributors (and because I still haven't got my copies of Born For Adversity yet, and that came out at the beginning of the month...)

Well, there's a blizzard raging outside, so that might have slowed things down a bit!

Or maybe the US delivery systems have just succumbed to Sloth . . . :)

So the British authors got theirs, and us Yanks are twiddling our thumbs. Lovely.... :D

Damn, I didn't realize it is coming out already. I guess I should order a copy. Not that I'll be reading it anytime soon. So many damn books to read in so little time.

How early do you guys get your copies? Should it be popping up in stores soon?

I'm getting mine March 16, 2010. But then, I'm getting the eBook and only paying $7.04. So I think the discount is worth the wait.

Just got my advance copies. Yippee! I think I'm going to save it to read on the plane to Norwescon.

By amazing coincidence (really, it wasn't my idea), I'm going to be moderating a panel on "The Dark Side of STAR TREK" . . . .

They also just changed it to now available on Amazon today, along with the look inside option. I'm still gonna wait and get it from my local Borders store, though. I usually only order stuff online when I can't get it from the stores..

I take it there's stories in this that you're going to need to be up on the Relaunch stuff to get...

Why would you say that? None of the descriptions I've read give any indication that that would be the case. From what I've heard most of them seem to be fairly small, independent stories.

Most of the stories we've heard about actually take place during the shows. Of the three I know about the Romulan and Klingon stories are both set during TOS, and the MU stories takes place during the TNG/DS9 era before Crossover.
