Set blueprint exchange

If I remember correctly (I may not, feel free to correct me accordingly), they pulled the 'Relics' set pieces out of storage and added to them for TandT.

I don't think they recycled the Relics bridge, as that would normally have "STOCK" written on the plans for sections to reuse.
Also in The Magic of Tribbles this quote sort of implies a new build
"The Star Trek art department at paramount has recreated pies of the Enterprise a couple of times," says Zimmerman. "For example, the bridge set that Richard James did for 'Relics'. And we've built replicas that we've sent to star Trek exhibits around the world. But this time, we were much more careful about doing our research, and the recreations that you see in this episode are the closest to the original that have ever been done."

They seem to have reused used the helm and captain's chair as these are the "Relic" episode blueprints with "Tribbles" written on.

http://archive.frogland.co.uk/Set B...bble-ations/index.html#img=Relics helm 01.jpg

Also it just occurred to me that we have an exhibition TOS bridge blueprint that is very similar (though I don't know if it was before or after Tribbles)

Reusing the helm and captain's chair, if they did in fact do that, may be what I was thinking of. I just remember something about a possible reuse. As I said, if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.

Edited to add: I've been reading this thread since it began a few months shy of ten years ago. This is the first (second, actually) I've posted in it.

These blueprints are using the McMaster bridge blueprints as a source. I also seem to remember that the captain's chair and/or helm wasn't built for Relics but was either rented from someone like HMS, or a fan. HMS did exhibition pieces, but I can't recall if that's what these were. Maybe someone can dig up the specific info, if I can't find it...

Information about the chair and helm from https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Steve_Horch
The Captain's chair and helm were rented from Steve Horch
Discovered shortly before the start of the tour by Michael Okuda, who flat-out stated, "If not for Steve Horch, we would not have that scene.",

Then for Tribbles
Everything [remark: the sets] except helm and Captain's chair, were built for specifically T&T. We rented those from Steve Horsch [sic.], a big fan who was also a professional Hollywood prop maker. Almost nothing is left over from the '60s, set-wise. So we built an entire corridor of the original ship, and parts of the bridge., Doug Drexler confirmed.

Steve Hooch would later found HMS with Michael Moore in 1998

I've always really liked that first Voyager design proposal with the fins and would have preferred that over what they settled on. Looked like the PH would have been a little more on the oval side, as opposed to a garden trowel.

I know I've seen the pointy Reliant-looking version before, but I haven't looked at it recently, and the TMP-style fins on the ends of the warp engines make me wonder how those nacelles would look on the TMP-style everything else Enterprise-G

Hey guys found a few more things of interest.

This one is very interesting it appears to be blueprints along with measurements of the Enterprise-D, however it appears to be an early concept version of the Big-D as you will notice differences in the shape of the nacelle pylons, as well as impulse engines. This auction also includes a TOS Phaser blueprint, dated 2/6/08

Corridor 1 and Corridor 2

I will update with the Heritage auction stuff soon

A couple of things to note:
The Galileo shuttles were numbered Copernicus 3 and Galileo 5 on film. The model Galileo 7 is not a filmed model and has the wrong nacelles. Possibilities include prototype, exhibition piece, personal piece or simply another post film casting from main body moulds.

There is also a second STV shuttle listed, but it is actually the Hawking type. However I don't think it is the actual Hawking shuttle as I believe that is still with Paramount. It also would have had to have lost its entire paint job and weathering. Same possibilities as the STV Galileo shuttle - prototype, exhibition etc.
https://entertainment.ha.com/itm/mo...136.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515

The phaser blueprints were made by Nelson Au - I don't think they were production used. It is odd they were lumped together with the Enterprise D blueprints.

Those STB maquettes are neat! I’ve been trying to figure out the layout of the Enterprise corridors from that film for ages, so that’s a big help.

Blueprint update:

I have managed to purchase 55 sheets of blueprints.
Voyager - 23 sheets
Bridge
Ready Room
Enterprise NX - 22 sheets
Bridge
Ready Room
Launch bay
Stage 18
Transporter Corridor floorplan
Armoury
Engineering and Warp Core

There a some duplicates within the NX bundle, but they seem to have different pencil writing on them, so I may need to scan both copies.

It will take at least several weeks to scan these sheets for the archive. I have to travel to the nearest city and get them scanned at a shop and they probably will need to be in batches.

Also a big thanks to the seller for this. Neither of us had delt with shipping items from the US, so we worked together on packaging, choice of courier, insurance etc.
