Set blueprint exchange

That's why in the penultimate episode they make the comment about not being able to use the Enterprise-E and everyone looks at Worf, the original way it was written was for the E to still be the newest Enterprise (under his command), just recently destroyed/out of commission.

The F was added very late as a nod to STO given all the help they gave the production, and indeed the G wasn't supposed to be an Enterprise and was changed literally at the 11th hour.

Here's a photo of the F bridge that was shared on Twitter, you can see the displays had the Vesta class instead of the Odyssey as it was meant to be the Sulu.

That makes so many pieces fit together in season 3's jumbled third act.

This is a very short update as the focus has been on the next edition of the Galaxy Project, which will be launching tomorrow.

Sketchup Pro Layout Issues
I make these blueprints with Sketchup Pro 8 (2010) for 3d modelling and its companion program Layout for blueprinting.
This past few weeks I've had some big issues with Layout - three random different errors that together lost 7 pages (which had to be remade)
Currently working through some potential fixes and I'll update how that goes as it will have an impact on the next Galaxy Project edition.

I'm glad you were able to get this put together. Like I mentioned over on BlueSky, if you need troubleshooting assistance please feel free to reach out. Are you still having those error messages?

I may not have as much time right now to work on my projects, but for all you do I'd be more than willing to assist in anyway I can.

The wall panels, the corners should also be rounded.

^OMG the look on McCoy's face

@batboy853 So far no more errors, and I'm going to do a reinstall now that the new edition of the project is complete. If the errors come back after that, I'll message you and we can work from there.

Also good spot on the rounded corners - I missed them. I will update ready for the next version.

In your transporter corridor, you show the frame members sticking up above the corridor ceiling with a crossbeam connecting them at top. Is this speculative, or do you have reference images showing this? I tried to find an image of this aspect but couldn't find one.

I know there are places that show the top parts of these frames, like above the shuttlebay door, but I was wondering specifically in the corridor.

We have this image of the TNG transporter room and corridor being dismantled for Voyager.

The top beams are present and are bare wood, with the next section painted TMP colour, followed by the main section in TNG paint.
Also we can see that the beams are higher than the wall at the top left corner of the image. As I can't get an exact height of the wall there, the maximum it can be is 10'6 1/2" (base of the beam). Its probably more likely 10'6" or possibly slightly less, but I can't confirm at present.

I also can't confirm top beam thickness, so I have left this the same as the reinforced door's frame for now.

You can just about see a top beams present on the engineering corridor.

Were these top beams for structure or just to mount the tube lights hanging down from them?

By contrast, the arches of the TMP curved corridor have no top beam. I believe Gene is standing outside of TMP sickbay

TMP corridors are lit very differently to TNG - they did not have overhead tube lights, instead being lit from panels near the corridor floor.

If the top beams were purely for mounting the ceiling lights, than its likely the TMP version of the transporter corridor did not have the top beam, and it was added for TNG.

You know, when I first saw that image as a thumbnail while viewing another in this post, I was like "How did one of my renders end up in this post!?" That was the first set I attempted when I switched to Blender after 15 years away from 3D. :D
