Set blueprint exchange

The ACR images are reconstructions rather than original blueprints. Do they still count?

I forgot to upload the TOS Auxilllary control room blueprints - I'll get them up shortly

The Raven blueprints are the same res as the ones on flickr

I haven't visited this thread in awhile. Had some computer issues and got a new one, but just checking in....

Wow! Redgeneral, those shuttlebay plans are amazing. Great work. I really like your PDF layouts too. Can you describe how you do them?

I use sketchup to model and layout (part of sketchup pro) to make the blueprint.

When I put the next blueprint together I will write a little overview showing my steps. I've almost finished the TNG archway corridor, so hopefully should be blueprinting soon.

This past week and a half has been a nightmare - unfortunately my computer received the windows 10 anniversary update and my copy of sketchup 8 pro would no longer launch. I was left unable to create anything or open my existing files.

It turned out that Microsoft had decided to remove .Net framework 1 - 3.5 and leave just the newer .4x series in place. This meant older programs that relied on 3.5 and earlier just would not start (sketchup 8 came out in 2010). It took a lot of work / frustration to figure this out.

I am so glad that I found a fix, because the only other option was to buy a copy of the latest sketchup pro (way too expensive)

When my free trial ended, it just continued working. I think you only have to buy it for commercial purposes. Am I wrong? Are you using it professionally?

Some blueprints here:

http://www.screenused.com
Search for "trek"

Make sure to get some of the concept drawings, because they actually contain dimensioned drawings for set elements. Particularly a stand-up console and a library computer.

Also, some of the ST V blueprints have elements pertaining to the TNG sets.

I'm after the enterprise d blueprints, I own them and tried to get them scanned to a digital file but the store didn't want to take the copyright risk. It's just about impossible to scan them at home as the folds mean you're going to lose the edges of each folded image.

hxclespaulplayer - You could try using hugin to semi-automatically stitch small scans together
http://hugin.sourceforge.net/
Tutorial: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/tutorials/scans/en.shtml

Alternatively you could try using the Ed Whitefire plans, which are available to download from http://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/ed-whitefire-enterprise-ncc-1701d.php

On a side note I've uploaded on flickr the studio model blueprints for the Enterprise C
Side
Front
Secondary hull top and base
Saucer top and base

Also the conversion blueprints for the enterprise C to the Yamaguchi
Top, base and side
Front and back

These images have been sitting on my hard drive for a while, and I can't remember where I saved them from

That is a very mis-labelled auction!

Also, it's not the final corridor they used in the episode

Nice!

BTW I was watching TNG "A Matter Of Perspective" The other day when I noticed they had a really good shot of those wall panels they used from s3 on wards whenever they needed to make a quick generic room IE ready room of the USS Pheonix, ST TUC galley, Sutherland bridge. From what I can tell each panel is about the same height as the K-Beams, as in "A Matter of Perspective" The shot where I got the reference image from has the holodeck doors closing and materializing the Panel in it's place. It looks like they also made a narrower version of these panels as well.

After tweaking the image a bit was able to get a pretty close to a 2d representation, one of these days when I have time I might try to make a illustrated blueprint off in illustrator.

Cool. I've thought about these panels before. Do you suppose they are built out of wood or are vacuum-formed plastic or fiberglass?

I wonder if some of these are presentation boards that can be found in catalogs. A lot of sets use large plastic pallets.

I've seen large circular things propped outside Wal-Mart garden sections.

This is to everybody new reading this thread and also to everyone who does already know about our project. This is a description about our project and some impressions from "our set" ;) Enjoy! ...posting here because still searching blueprints of the Enterprise E set. Thanks a lot!

With this post I want to indroduce our very ambitious project. Within this project we want to do a reconstruction of the Enterprise E bridge set. It is a non commercial project just only made by fans for the fans. We know that is a very bold project but we want to make it come true.

Our goal is to do it also as authentic and professionell as possible with modifications because we do not want to make a 1:1 copy. For that reason we plan to work with original set plans also used for the different Enterprise E film sets. The reconstruction will occur in nearby Berlin in Germany. The work has already begun but we still need every support we could get. We need everything we could get in respect to blueprints from the Enterprise E bridge and other stages from Nemesis, First Contact (...) but formally the bridge set. We need blueprints in high resolution to read out the correct dimensions and measurements. So everything could help us. Perhaps you still have blueprints, copys of blueprints or know somebody who does have blueprints we need. We will also pay for that. ...thank you for reading and your help. On the pictures you could see what is already done

all the best Chris
