Set blueprint exchange

Thank you both Washburn and Cardinal for the reply. A thank you goes a long way for me. I will not
Forget your reply!

Hey Joe, your images for the projectors are broken :( Do you mind reposting them, or restoring the links? Thanx!

I just got your message - there was no email alert for the private message, so your post on the thread alerted me to it. I have now sent you an email.

Awesome! Was about to say don't remember there being a corridor to the set but then I had to remind myself its the set for The Raven as in the episode not for Dark Frontier.

Count - Thank you for finding all the references of the wall sections
I've beening working down a mental list of episodes with the shuttlebay and completely forgot about The Mind's Eye - the one episode that had every shot I needed.

Lt. Washburn - well spotted with the material. Its very possible that the silvery detailing elsewhere is also made of the same stuff.

Progress so far on the shuttlebay - http://startreksetplans.tumblr.com/post/143549930804/got-a-large-chuck-of-the-shuttlebay-done
Hi RedGeneral, I've looked through your posts and much appreciated all the time and effort to get it right. I'm in the process of constructing a Shuttlebay set (with a conversion to cargo bay) in a 3D game, I'm looking for some measurements or blueprints. Any progress on your work?

I should hopefully have the blueprints for the series 1&2 shuttlebay done by Sunday, with the blueprints for series 3-7 version out a couple of weeks after that.

Thanks, that should be fine. I'm going for the spirit rather than a precise screen copy. It"ll still be recognizable thought so anything you got should help.

After analyzing 31 pages, there's certainly the possibility I've overlooked it, but I'm looking for any kind of basic elevation or plan drawings of V'ger's core, the greeblie festooned "amphitheater" where the Voyager 6 probe stood. An overhead view will do, but I'd be more interested in a simple "cross section cut" showing the angle of the incline and the relative height of the columns surrounding the structure.

Finished a new blueprint - the TNG Shuttlebay (series 1 & 2 configuration)

I hope to get the blueprints for the series 3-7 configuration finished in a few weeks time

That's seriously awesome! Some pictures I've come across show a second door and walkway/booth on the right side of the set. I've decided to incorporate that into my build, hope it comes out ok.

One side of the set was left open for ease of access, especially for bringing in shuttles and cargo containers. To create the illusion of a full set, some scenes were filmed with the floor text mirrored when painted and then the image was flipped.

I think adding the booth and second door to the open end would be a great way to close off the set for your 3D game.
