SOO close that the guy who made the fan credits should at least get some credit IMO

I played the one I downloaded months ago next to this one, it's the exact same one, even the title "Last Of The Gaderene".

Still cool though, and very well done.

The one in the OP is not the leaked video, since positing that would be a violation of board rules. It's merely the fan-made one the new credits were based on.

As for the leak, I managed to find a GIF of it, and yeah, it's really similar. It doesn't use the pocketwatch motif and replaces some of the swirly clock bits in the second half with planets, but it's very close overall.

The leaked season 8 premiere script indicates he will be receiving a credit.

I hope they really have slimmed down the theme. Didn't like the theme from the Smith Era since it sounded so busy. This sounds like they brought back the Eccleston/Tennant era theme and I'm appreciative of that.

It seemed awfully...warbley, which may well be the bad audio. But I did notice that the backbeat seems to be played on chimes (a la a clock), and the main melody is a sort of a synth sound – very retro. The other orchestration sounded like it'd been carried over from the Matt Smith-era theme.

I wish it had been that one.

This is cliche. The titles are not bad from about 17 seconds on in the videos.

I do like the music... not sure how it really sounds.

Not quite as cool as the fan made one of the TARDIS flying through asteroids and over a volcano planet, but it's still nice seeing a title sequence that's done in a very different style from before.

I liked the Tardis flying through the asteroids too. Don't like the clock theme in the one above.
