I think the ‘mind rape’ description is getting...repulsive and tired. It’s not like Star Trek vi, and is a terrible description (for a start, it’s more like a medically induced coma.)
It’s also with precedent in Who....is he going to sort out Jamie and Zoe as well?
It’s a tragic end. You get that sometimes. Katarina. Sara Kimgdom. Adriça. Ace possibly, possibly not. Not to mention some of the one and done companions who did t get to travel. Mel in some versions died. Not to mention ‘waters of mars’ and it’s tragic ending. Donnas end is tragic for a reason. Let it stand.

Oh, cool, I hadn't heard we were getting the Cybermen this season. Hopefully they're Mondasian, regardless whatever new look they may have now.

Tragically so.
I wouldn't mind Chibnall leaving. Except for a few good moments, this last series was.... forgettable and boring.
Can't say I disagree with that. There were two or three good episodes and the rest were pretty mediocre.
I thought the fact that a universe was personified as a talking frog was worth the whole season.

The news I’m looking for is a redesign of the Tardis interior.

A redesign would be too expensive. A refit would be most welcome though - use more of the space they have instead of being constantly crowded around the console with nowhere else to go, sit, stand, or work.
IMO, Capaldi's refitted console room still stands as the best use of space and time, as it were.
