Sequel excitment builds!

Although I lack willpower in some areas, I generally have an easy time avoiding movie spoilers. First Contact was an exception, but that was 14 years ago.

Still, I agree that it is exciting when a movie I hoped would be made actually starts moving forward.

You want a squeal then? Of an episode or one of the pervious movies?
I want a squeal of a pervious movie. I don't know what that is, but it sounds dirty.

Sequel?
ballz.
I hate it already. I just don't know exactly WHY I hate it, yet.
But, I'm sure that my hate knows no bounds.
yessir.

(sulk now)

Re: Deep Roy character to return - rumor

Deep Roy, who played Scotty's alien sidekick (along with the Ooompa Loompas in Burton's Willy Wonka and Mister Sin on Doctor Who), seems to believe he'll definitely back in the next Trek movie, according to this interview from the SciFi Expo in Texas.
Rumor but who knows?
Not so much rumor as wishful thinking or hoping. I would like to see them give his character some depth.

So, uh, we building any excitement yet? ;)

Speaking of Star Trek excitement, I recall Patrick Stewart doing those Pontiac commercials during the early era of TNG...

We-build-ex-cite-ment.....Pontiac!

As for ex-cite-ment for Trek 2012? Too early to say; just rumors now....;)

Well shit, i read the title as "Sexual excitement builds"...

Well, thinking about Zoe Saldana in her uniform (or even Rachel Weisz in that same type of uniform, or with upswept eyebrows and a Romulan Commander uniform) can do that...

sequel script plot rumors?

Here it is 9 months later and still not word on script.

Orci hinted that we might be seeing clear metaphors for modern geo-political concerns in the story about ongoing mission of the Starship Enterprise. First, here's what Abrams told me:

It needs to tell a story that has connection to what is familiar and what is relevant. It also needs to tell it in a spectacular way that hides the machinery and in a primarily entertaining and hopefully moving story. There needs to be relevance, yes, and that doesn't mean it should be pretentious.

Well, I gotta say, I'm really excited about the next Trek movie - for so many reasons, but I must confess, one of the main things I'm really looking forward to, is seeing...

More Starships!!!!

I can't wait to see the Nu-Enterprise again, and see some more, up-close-and-personal shots of other federation starships.

And with new starships comes...

New Starship Toys/replicas!!!!!

Can't wait!!!!!

I feel the same way!!

Remaining spoiler-free is impossible. I would have to sell my computer. I would have to go into a medically induced coma a month from now and stay in it for two years. Maybe they can wheel my unconscious body directly to the theater opening night and then wake me up five before showtime.
Its like that South Park where Cartman gets impatient waiting for the Wii to come out so he freezes himself in a block of ice only to wake up a thoasand years in the future.

Yes, I admit it... I giggled ;)

I really had no interest in the new ST before it came out, so I remained really unspoiled! ... well except for the S/U relationship. Let's hope this time I can do the same. :)
