August's contest theme, for the 217th Fan Art Challenge, chosen by vote is:

Storyboard
In the words of Wikipedia, a “storyboard is a graphic organizer that consists of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture” or television show. Here you can try your own hand at the process, creating a storyboard for a sequence from your own Star Trek story involving established or imagined characters.

Any sequence, any era, any pre-vis or sketch you've done up in the month of September will do!

The Rules

• the artwork you submit should be created during the month of the challenge
  
• only one final image can be submitted (although it may contain multiple views)
• your final entry should be posted in this thread (although dedicated WIP threads are appreciated)

The winner gets to sport the “Art Challenge Winner” banner below their name for the following month, and has the honor of hosting October's challenge. You can help choose the Theme for October's Challenge in the theme entry here!.

You have until the end of the 10th October to post your final entries here.

I may have been overly ambitious but I think I can finish a chunk tonight and post mine tomorrow.

Is anyone needing more time for this?

Despite what I said above, I didn't start mine (unless drawing a few lines on a piece of paper and then staring at them for hours counts), but I'm about to now. I'm not aiming for any sophistication, just sketches, so I should be able to post mine later or tomorrow, too.
If the deadline is extended it'll just mean that I have more line-staring time

Ok, I only have one page of what would probably be a 4-5 page sequence, but it's a 9 panel storyboard that I did up just for this contest!



This is what would be the start of the opening credits sequence for a Tiny Trek Adventures animated show. The idea is to feature the main characters, the ship, and some of the bad guys and their ships.

I did say my idea was overly ambitious. Especially given I haven't sketched in a LONG time.

A busy few weeks for me, but I put together something with a few basic CG models found on my HDD.

What if Scotty didn't make the right decision to ignore the second distress call in Friday's Child?

I can't place it at the moment, but I freely admit I've most likely pinched the chase scene style/arrangement from another Trek show.
