Well, that's not really saying much because next to Seven a lot of characters were wallpaper. But that's mostly due to Seven-heavy writing. I'm not complaining though. I thought the show was stronger with Seven.
Unfortunately, it's all academic, really. But I suspect otherwise, about Kes and Seven. Kes would've been amongst the very first to treat Seven as a person. She also would've been genuinely and actively interested in Seven's welfare and emotional growth. They probably would've been like very close sisters, towards the end of the series.
MY GOD! If they had gotten rid of Harry it might have been KES that 7 said, "do you wish to copulate?" to!

I'm thinking Kes and Seven could have a kid, like Trip and T'Pol did, with Seven being the boy and Kes being the girl, but they're not married, or going out, or anything like that. They just had a kid to raise together, yet seperately. Kind of like divorced parents, or whatever. Kes is strictly dicky, that much is certain. Lynx understands the Kes character much better than I do, though. I'd like to see his comments on this.

Seven would be the "father" to the kid they "artificially" had and Kes would be the "mother." I can see it. Can't you?
They are two women and they would raise the children as two women. You don't need to label people "father" or "mother" in a same sex couple.
Right ... well ... when you come up with some storyline, or another, based on this fanfiction, I can edit for you, if you like. Add my own flourishes and finishing touches ...

I'm just worried that 7 will think a baby with reduced lifespan due to being half human and half Ocampan will be inefficient, maybe she will be thinking she should have bred with a Vulcan.. but the two of them will probably figure out a way around this because, science.

What's the point of not having 7 and Kes in bed together but getting a baby? IF you're gonna have the baby you need compensation!!
Trek does children soooo badly, but I will forgive baby focus if we precede the baby with 7 and Kes exploration scenes. As it should be.
