She's clearly supposed to be undercover, so quite possibly she won't have one most of the time.

That is a good point. It allows Scarlett to not worry about a Russian accent. Be nice to have her use it at some time after the reveal though. Then in future movies she can stick with the Russian for an excuse as flimsy as "assimilation" on an Avengers team or some such reason.

I'm hoping that we'll get to see Beth Cabe

By the way... now that some of the toys have been revealed, I wonder what of those big ass armors we saw at the end of the first trailer and middle of the second were manned or unmanned. Be interesting if we also saw classic Hammer funded villains liked the Beatle, Blizzard, and Force.

According to IMDB, Kate Mara will be playing Bethany Cabe in Iron Man 2. Did her scenes get cut or something?

I've been so focused on how much more cool this new trailer is that I hadn't even thought this far yet. Thanks for mentioning this.

Seems like a good thought. Now most of those are fairly C-list baddies but it could be cool to have an opening sequence for IM:3 where he's taking down say Beatle robbing a bank or hijacking some resources. Then get into the heart of the movie, which would hopefully feature Mandarin.

Well I'm sure at least some of them are drones, although we did see Whiplash looking at one of the War Machine looking suits on that assembly line - so... are there multiple WM armors? Or was that Stark's own little Iron Works thing or... was that Hammer's?

Plus the statement that Iron Man would be rendered obsolete pretty much confirms speculation that those are drones.

Reminds me of the scene in IM1 when Rhodey was talking about UAVs and how unmanned vessels of war could never truly replace ones with people inside them.
