Second Favorite Trek Show?

TOS is the unquestioned #1 for me. Followed by DS9.

The characters, the action, the emotion, the storytelling. It’s not perfect by any means but damn it’s good.

Probably TNG, but its been years since I last watched any of it.

TOS will always be my favorite Trek series, with TNG second and a tie between DS9 and ENT for third.

My second favorite is TOS. Too many sci fi tropes were established, lots of good writing, lots of camp.

I was looking at Discovery maybe overtaking it this season, but it isn't quite hitting the mark like I expected. May yet.

Wish I could vote!

VOY is my favourite, hands-down. Got the feels for the ship, the story, and the crew.
Beyond that, I have likes and dislike for every iteration of Star Trek, and it's such a complete toss-up that I cannot select a second favourite.

Senior candidates for me might be ENT, TNG and DSC. DSC could become my No. 2 but I have wait and see the end of its 7-year run.

TNG and DS9 are tied at number 1 for me, so I said Enterprise. I've gained more appreciation for it over the years.

Had to give this one some thought. I think VOY is probably my second favorite, after TOS. I honestly think that TNG is a better series than VOY, but I dunno...I just like VOY better. Don't know if that makes sense; don't care either. It is what it is.

DSC is my second favourite because A) nothing will knock TOS off the top of the list and B) because it is, so far, the most willing to try new things (it's not always successful, but I am far more forgiving of attempts to do new things that don't necessarily work out than I am of perfectly executed, super-safe offerings).

The cartoons are at the bottom but only because they are not "live action". Within the two, TAS, being TOS in animation, gets the nod.

Makes plenty of sense to me! I always say the greatest film ever made was Star Wars, but I personally like Star Trek: The Motion Picture much better!

TNG was my generation's Star Trek. For me it slightly edges out TOS for 1st. So TOS is a very close 2nd. Unless we're talking about the movies, then it's reversed. Those TOS movies are way better than the TNG ones
