Food Babe is a crank.

You got that right! Still, scary ingreedements, those!

Lit some Pumpkin Spice scented candles last night and welcomed in November. Sure not like at home here, but if I close my eyes, I can see and hear the leaves and trees getting bare.

Re: Pumpkin Spice Products Must be Stopped

They changed the recipe and are now clearly forcing people like tharpdevenport to buy with their hard earned money (money that they still wouldn't use to pay to watch Star Trek, goddammit) and consume products flavored with it.

The horror.

Also who cares? We're not eating this stuff thinking it's a vegetable

no, not that Teacake. Artificial standards are so low it doesn't even taste like food anymore. I want high quality artificial junk food :P

Fake was the wrong word. I want the best damn pumpkin spice syrup starbucks can find! :D

Re: Pumpkin Spice Products Must be Stopped

It's finally over. The wave of pumpkin spice products has ceased. Now all that remains is the lingering marshamallows, cupcakes, and other pumpkin spice products that barely sold and are just sitting there.

Will it be like last year where one of two of them sat there until Halloween rooled around again? Only time will tell.

Now the delicious wave of peppermint products are starting to come in, incuding, I hope, the peppermint marshmallows.

Peppermint Products Must be Stopped

Every year it seems there's more and more of them, from candy to cented candles to even marshmallows. And it wears out its welcome very quickly.

Some lady put a peppermint scented candle in her office at a business -- stunk up the whole place. It was plesant to smell... once.

Bag after bag of peppermint flavored candies just sit there. There's probably one guy, some creepy guy who smells like peppermint, who buys 'em.

Just a couple weeks ago or so, Wal-Mart finally got rid of peppermint (and regualr mint) flavored products which had been sitting on the shelf since last bloody Christmas. Yes, just in time to get ready to stock fresh peppermint products that will sit there for another year.

Re: Peppermint Products Must be Stopped

York Peppermint Patties are the single best use for peppermint, ever. All else is heresy. Burn the unbelievers.

Re: Peppermint Products Must be Stopped

*You're* the blasphemers! Personally, I live for the time of year when I can get peppermint mocha from Dunkin Donuts drive thrus. :D

The candle, I would not be so fond of - but not because peppermint, but because candle. The smoke dries my sinuses out.
