When a raygun and a rocketship love each other very much...Romantic relationships are not why I watch the show with rocketships and ray guns.
- Jellico as acting captain, or maybe one of several rotating captains
Only for another Captain to usurp command under some obscure order leaving Captain L'ft B'hnd on Vulcan again. They need to go to Vulcan and pick up that acting Captain who's still waiting to take over the USS Discovery.

Sometimes literallyMariner hates change and pushes people away. Her first real relationship in Lower Decks is pretty much doomed before it begins.
Jennifer's face is hilarious.
It has never been officially confirmed, but it's my pet theory that the character of Ron Emmanuel Docent, Jr. from "Cupid's Errant Arrow" was at some point in the production intended to be Reg Barclay voiced by Dwight Schultz, but that they couldn't get him for some reason and so made him a different character. The character design certainly looks like a Lower Decks version of Barclay and his character background would kind of fit with what we know of Barclay post-TNG.I'm surprised we have yet to see Barkley in the show …
The background animation is excellent on this show. Stuff like the Vulcans little smirk when proved right. Also not really background but the amount of Spock eyebrows going on in that ship was hilarious too
