Spoilers Season Three Hopes, Speculations, and Expectations

The final episode of Season 2 debuted yesterday with an incredible cliffhanger. So, how do you want it to be resolved? Who do you want to have blown up Pakled Planet and framed Captain Freeman? What hopes, speculations, and expectations do you have for Season 3? Will we get to finally see the Rubber Ducky Room?

I think in the third season premiere, Rutherford and Barnes will go on a date. Also, I think that Ransom will undergo a transformation of some sort.

 

I also suspect that the ballroom dancing competition will be canceled.

 

Predictions:

The individuals that took the captain away are going to be revealed as one of the following:

• Section 31
• TOS-era Klingons
• Those parasites from “Conspiracy”
• Species 8472 in human form
• Rogue Founders
• personnel taken over by Organians
• Sulban (least likely)

We’ll probably see Ezri Dax/Julian Bashir and the USS Aventine in the season 3 finale.

Other vessel we’ll see: Akira class, Defiant class, Steamrunner class and the Saber class USS Da Vinci. Plus, either a Negh’var class, Vorcha class, or K’t’inga class battle cruiser due to the Klingon involve with the Pakleds.

And due to the Klingons involvement with the Pakleds, we might see Martok, Worf, Alexander and/or Kurn next season.

Maybe a cameo of Admiral Neychayaev

Mariner and Jennifer will be an item

- a longer arc of solving the Pakled mystery
- transfer of T'Lyn to Cerritos (I don't think it will happen, but I think we will see her and the Klingon captain again)

- no love triangle, please! (some seem to think Jennifer is into Boimler)

 

Just more solid writing. This show continues to impress me.

Romantic relationships are not why I watch the show with rocketships and ray guns.

I'd like some kind of mention of the Picard 2381 backstory, even if it isn't likely to be featured.
