Question:
Is there any way we can branch the threads off and have all the "here's a discount if you follow this link" or "just came in the mail but I haven't watched it yet so I have nothing further to add but a vanity post!!!!!!" type replies separate from the good stuff, ie the talk about the content of the discs themselves.
These threads are great, the posts from Trekcore are brilliant and people's opinions on what works and doesn't on the remastering or bonus features (as well as the original eps themselves) are great to read.
But to get to them you have to filter through loads of "in the moment" posts about people saying they've ordered the DVD which feels like it should be in a completely separate thread to the discussion of SFX/CBS Digital et al.
My 2 cents.
What was the error?Has the missing shot from "Best of Both Worlds Part 2" been found and put on this set?
You mean the three second nonHD shot? Nope.
They did however catch an audio error in time for that episode and fixed it for the S4 set.
What was the error?
A cue ("Intervention") started slightly early. Thankfully we alerted them and they were able to fix it in time for S4!
Just received my copy in the post, and have to say this statement on the packaging surprises me:
CONTAINS BLEEPED STRONG LANGUAGE
Seriously??! I can't remember TNG using language so strong it required bleeping out?!

I've noticed labeling in the UK seems to carry a lot more warnings of this nature than they do in the US or Canada. I doubt we'll see the same kind of warning on the packaging here.
At any rate, lucky you for getting it a day early!

Its one of the Battle Bridge scenes where Frakes says the line 'We'd like time to prepare our people for assimilation'.I'm sure this has been discussed already so forgive me for not reading the whole thread, but whereabouts are the 3 seconds of unconverted SD footage in BOBW2? I'm keeping my eye out for it as I watch.
