Yeah, they'll most likely save all of that for next year. Discovery will have 2024 all to itself.
2017 to 2024. 5 seasons in 7 years. Not bad.
It'll be interesting to see if any glimpse of the Starfleet Academy show is worked into the final season, or will they promote that separately.
Man everything is SO dark. A nice new Starfleet Starship and make out anything. 
I'm still convinced they were laying groundwork for Season 5 when Kovich said he had something else to deal with and he couldn't join Discovery on its way to make contact with Species 10-C.

Of course, Kovich's whole deal is that he's enigmatic AF, so the line was likely just meant to be in reference to that.

Is that ship’s name the USS Antares? Because everybody seems to be pronouncing it “An-tahr-is” rather than the correct pronunciation of “An-tahr-eez.”
Loved the scene—both the pacing and, yeah, the tech on display. While I’ve no particular feelings about Starfleet Academy in particular, I very much want the franchise to keep going with the late 32nd-century era after Discovery ends, and I hope recent Paramount money stuff doesn’t derail that.
An interesting tidbit that was mentioned in the clip was the Pathway Drive. President Rillak mentioned the drive in the S4 premiere, a new ftl propulsion technology designed to free the Federation from its dilithium dependence. It was installed in Voyager for testing. It must have been successful and is now being fitted for the fleet. I'm curious how it will differ from warp drive and how they will present that visually.

It was really nice seeing a promo for DISCO. I'd almost thought Paramount had forgotten about it!
CC has the ship's name as USS Atari.
That can’t be right, since both Rayner and Burnham clearly say the name with an ‘s’ at the end.
It sounded like "Antares" to me.
I hope it's Antares and not Atari. If it's Atari... I just can't. 
Has to be. It's captained by a man with the last name beginning with "R".
Looks pretty good, I just hope it's not all balls-out, frenetic, somewhat corny action 24-7... The antagonists look interesting, I guess. Something to look forward to in 2024, just bummed it'll end with season 5 though.
