Spoilers Season 3 Comic-Con reveals

I think it would be baller if a new Trek series had a season-long plot arc which integrated the absolute worst/stupid moments in Trek history, and somehow made them all work.

Star Trek survivied Data and Jos Piscopo making spastic noises on the holodeck, it'll survive Number One singing and Spock laughing. Which I thought was actually cute.

What would make sense is that Number One is killed horribly, pushing Spock farther into a more Vulcan state.

Well that would certainly BE the majority of 24th century TNG/VOY Trek. ;)

Anyone who could put together an arc that would make "Spock's Brain", "And the Children Shall Lead", "Plato's Stepchildren", "Turnabout Intruder", 80% of TNG Season 1, and the lower third of Voyager all work would be a genius. I would have great respect for this person.

They'd do for Star Trek what Grant Morrison did for his run on Batman in the '00s by working wonders out of all the weirdness of the Silver Age. Until Grant Morrison, I had no use for '50s-era Batman.

EDIT: Might as well throw "The Omega Glory" into the mix too.

Children steal Spocks brain and puts it into Quarks brain after his sex change operation and goes play hop scotch singing Allaramine until he gets sick and needs to put on Seven's catsuit in order to seduce a alien from ,Code of Honor to heal himself with their vaccine. Jason

What if "The Naked Time" / "The Naked Now" Infection became the "Common Cold Virus" of the 23rd & 24th Century and keeps popping up.
That could explain many of the stranger happenings.

They are all acts or hallucinations of a bunch of Drunks.
;)

Personally, I am working on a story in which Edward Larkin escapes death with some tribbled to 1990s Northern Ireland, where he meets the girls of Derry Girls. It's called "The Tribbles and the Troubles". No more story yet, but I'll go into full development soon with a gofundme to sue the pants off CBS if they go anywhere near my idea.

Number One singing.

And insisting to be called Number One even at SF Command questioning.:guffaw:
How are those "damaging"? We saw Number One in one episode. Hardly enough time to get anything close to character development. So there's nothing to "damage".
Might be a cultural thing. Isn't Starfleet big on respecting members' culture?
