According to the BBC, Sean Connery has passed away RIP https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-54761824
I know he'll be Bond for most people but man..... Juan Sanches Villalobos Ramirez. Draco. Allan Quatermain. King Arthur. Marko Ramius. Henry Jones. Robin Hood. Thankfully we have many awesome movies to remember him by.
What a massive part of my youth. These actors who played characters larger than life and were larger than life themselves. You think they'll always be around. In a way, he will be still.
One of the greatest movie stars of all time; until today, he was probably the most iconic actor still alive. It’s sad that he hadn’t acted in over 15 years (I’ve heard it said that he had dementia for some time) but what a body of work he leaves behind.
I haven't really been following the news much this year as between Brexit and Corona Virus, its been too depressing. Therefore it came as something of a shock when I heard it earlier this afternoon from my Dad (and fellow Bond fan). RIP Sir Sean, though sadly not unexpected, still very sad. I hope that No Time to Die can be dedicated to all the key Bond film contributors who've passed away since Spectre such as Sean Connery & Roger Moore.
