Scruffy-looking untitled Han Solo film thread

Han -She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself.

Aaaaaaaand....THERE'S our answer. :)

We know she has at least two escape pods based on dialogue from ANH but they'd been jettisoned and were gone by the time the ship was captured by the Death Star.
 
The 2008 Hasbro ship (3.75" scale) comes with an escape pod accessory but that design may not even be close to canon, especially in the wake of the Disney takeover and rebooting of the EU and so many peripheral materials about the franchise.

Out of the back underside just behind the landing gear on the starboard side of the ship. I'm not a 100% on this but I don't really think there would be room in that area but it's now cannon that they lunch from there.
 
Ok so the pictures of the Hasbro Falcon explain it. The Falcon has some kind of small ship on the front and extra hull plating over the regular hull that Han must have removed at some point maybe to make the ship lighter for extra speed. I can buy that but the outside of the ship is understandable it's the inside being so different that bugs me, no one in their right mind would rather live inside a crap looking ship over a clean looking one.
 
I'm wondering if something's going to happen to Han to make him more cynical than he starts out. Like maybe he'll fall in love with somebody and she'll die, or maybe even she'll betray him.

You've obviously never visited homes in my area. :p
 
Keep in mind, it's still a freighter (of sorts). Those type of things rarely stay clean in the real world, even in the designed-for-humans areas.
 
Everyone's assuming that Han is the reason the Falcon's interior got so...brown. Did it occur to anyone else that there was also a Wookiee living in there? ;)
Maybe Chewie *really* liked to burn wroshyr intense to get rid of that horrible, unnatural "new factory" smell, and whatever kind of scented air-freshener Lando was using.

Trying to fit any of the Falcon's interior sets inside the exterior mock-up is an exercise in futility. It's about half the width it needs to be for the main hold not to poke out the port side hull, at least one third the height required to fit both gunwells & the ladder, and don't get me started on those smuggling hatches that can apparently hold a wookiee standing up at full height! ;)

Best not to overthink it.

yep. There was an image I saw that overlayed the set with the exterior model, but I can't find it now.
