Scream Queens

I'm up to 90 minutes now. If Comcast functions today, I might actually get to see the whole thing.

EDIT: By bad I meant offensive. I was expecting it to be enjoyable, but after the Parent's Television Council or whatever they're called had a fit over it, I was expecting it to be a lot more offensive.
The Parents Television Council found it offensive? Sweet. That just increased my enjoyment of the show by an order of magnitude. :rommie:

The sorority girls are portrayed as racists and class bigots, so of COURSE someone missed the point and was offended.

I think you're missing the point.

What's the point of being in a hate group if you can't find new things to hate?

I hear someone also found the new Muppets show offensive. It's the thing to do these days.

That's like the Westboro Church protesting something. So sad, they can only protest shows on network TV because of the ancient notion that the FCC rules on indecency. Every year as media grows they become less and less relevant though they never should've been to begin with.

Last year I attempted the first episode of Dollhouse. I couldn't get into it. I have heard of but not seen Cabin In The Woods, because of obvious reasons.

Dollhouse had the same problem every new show has, a soulless network exec screaming "Tits and teeth people! Tits and teeth! Lose 5 pounds or you're fired. Boners means dollars! And while you're at it, can you make the explosions larger and add another ####ing car chase, there's not enough car chases you dumb dumbs!"

That probably lasted three episodes, and then it became less about brainwashed prostitutes fulfilling male sex fantasies and more about spies, lies, conspiracies, office politics, identity and world domination.

You need more courage.

It takes a while sometimes for new TV to learn how not to be shit.

It was the Million Moms who hated The Muppets, and The Parent's Television Council or Family Council something like that, that hated Scream Queens. Whenever I hear about them having fits over these network shows, I want to find all of their members, lock them in a room, make them watch a marathon of True Blood, Game of Thrones, and Spartacus episodes and then watch their heads explode .

^ I knew it was them! I just sensed it! Don't those bored women have anything better to do than complain! I find it funny that they are always so vocal about shows they deem to be inappropriate. How about not letting your kids (or yourself) watch said shows. It baffles me. These women are obviously too lazy to actually parent.

Rant over.

Despite the fact that it was PG 13, she took me to see Titanic in theatres. I was seven. I loved it so much that I made my dad sit through it twice.

You're such a badass.

A line from Psych...

"Stop saying that! Sean, only you and Billy Zane have ever or would ever use the word Billy-Zanian."

Is that a movie?

Sometimes I even sneak in chocolates and candy in my purse so I don't have to pay ridiculous theatre prices.

An amateur detective solves crime so effortless, that the police accuse him of being the criminal committing all the crime he solves... Until he says "I'M PSYCHIC!!!" (Which he isn't) and then (every week for the next 8 years) the police pay this mook for his psychic readings and predictions to solve crime.

40 minute US comedy/drama.
