Scratch-built Enterprise refit

Wow ... just ... wow. Unbelievable talent and attention to detail. I'm going to go burn all my models now.... ;)

Q2

I see he's got it set up in what looks like a dining room. I hope he's not eating off of it!

The absolutley most impressive thing? The rec room fits in the saucer.

But seriously, folks. This is crazy-awesome.

Wow - what a joy to behold and at six feet long it's almost big enough for my 25mm Star Trek Citadel Miniatures.

He's gonna need one hell of a hex grid. I bet the model's would be a bit ungainly.

Maybe put the models on platforms with rollers?

Holy shit. That was amazing. Was that by any chance the poster known as REL?

Yeah, I'm wondering about that. The saucer rim looked a little thicker than in the original, as if he retconned the proportions a bit to justify the rec room placement (kinda like what Jein did with the 4-foot Enterprise-D vis-a-vis the ILM 6-footer).

What's cool is he had people standing in the windows of the officer's lounge in the bridge module. I would've liked to see some details on that portion.

Curious that it uses the TMP rec room yet the 1701-A call number and the TFF shuttlebay. Somehow I doubt the A's rec room would be identical in design to the TMP version, so it seems like a bit of a hybrid.

In the angle on the engineering hull, the shot where the deflector dish lit up, there was a small protruding shape just below the torpedo module. I was trying to figure out what it was, and given the fact that the video was sort of recreating the TMP drydock scenes, I wonder if it was meant to be a spacesuited figure in mid-somersault...

I like the thicker saucer. His secondary hull expands farther back a bit. He has a look all his own. If his ESTES TSTO shuttles get bigger, Rutan will by flying in them
