Scott Bakula was onboard 8 years ago!

Hero Complex interviewed Scott Bakula, here's what he thought about the fans offer to pay for Season 5:

HC: The success of the “Veronica Mars” Kickstarter campaign has fueled a lot of speculation about other fan-favorite shows that could be brought back after cancellation. There was a big fan push to save “Enterprise” when it was canceled. Would you be open to a Kickstarter reunion?

SB: I talked about that in the beginning, before Kickstarter was around. If the fans want us to do a movie or the fans want more episodes, why don’t we let the fans be investors in the show? This is eight years ago and it didn’t go anywhere. I’d love to do [a new season], but the big problem with our show is that it requires effects and sets. A lot of our sets have been sold. Our bridge is in Germany, assembled in a guy’s garage.

At the time, a lot of naysayers of Trek United. Oh well, maybe Drexler's campaign will work. If so, looks like Scott is on board.

Unfortunately the NX-01 bridge is definitely NOT in somebody's garage... there are pictures online (at Doug Drexler's place) showing it being bulldozed in September 2006. :(

Scott must have been thinking of TOS recreation they did for "In a Mirror Darkly". That was auctioned off alright.

If they wanted to, they could redress the chrome starship sets made for whatever enemy within Starfleet John Harrison works for, featured in Star Trek Into Darkness. Either that, or the Kelvin/Kobayashi Maru simulator set from the one before. A few 22nd Century computer display graphics, a different chair and it's a refit. No greater a leap in reasoning than how set design had moved on from the original television show to a Motion Picture 10 years later... whilst being described as only two onscreen!

Doesn't matter if he's on board, there will be no fan financed movie based on Enterprise. People have to stop looking at Veronica Mars like its a template for successfully bringing back cancelled shows.

Veronica Mars is an inexpensive movie, you don't need tons of expensive sets and effects, you can shoot everything on location (they can shoot parts of the movie in Bell's and Thomas' own houses for free if they want to), the characters can wear store bought clothes and more importantly, the entire project is anchored by one one character, Veronica, if you have her you have a movie. Other characters are important too but they can use the actors when they become available during the shoot. Let's say Ryan Hansen is only available for one week, no problem, shoot his scenes that week and the Wallace scenes another week, when you can get Percy Daggs. Of course that means Dick and Wallace never interact in the movie but that doesn't matter, it's not like they're part of a group of characters that work together.

For Enterprise they'd have to rebuilt the sets from scratch, they have to do effects, they'd have to have a big chunk of the cast signed on from the start unless you want a movie where the bridge crew's never together on the bridge. They'd need way more money than Veronica Mars' initial goal of 2 million dollars. And even if they get the money they need, the logistics would probably kill the project.
